Available 02/21/2025 This is Mayhem..... don't be scared of his name. He's just a husky, need we say more? We think this guy is around 2-3 years old. He has a ton of energy so if someone was willing to work with him he would be an amazing dog. He loves people, he LOVES attention, and he likes exploring. He seems to do decent with the dogs here at the shelter. If you wanted to start your own sled team, you need not look any further. Come in and meet this crazy guy! Story
Available 03/06/2025 This is Kenai, we think he is some type of husky mix and around a year old. This sweet boy came into the shelter in a ROUGH condition. He was so incredibly skinny with a chain tied around his neck. We made sure he was safe, well fed, and knowing that even while he is here he is loved. He has gained a good amount of weight since he came in, but he is still a little skinny so he needs lots of nutritious meals. He seems to be a little scared of new people at first but he does warm up and he loves scratches. He is incredibly treat motivated. He doesn't seem to love other dogs, but with proper introduction he may warm up. He just needs someone to love him and take care of him. Inquires and adoptions are on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in adoption feel free to stop by, call us, or message us on Facebook. Story
Luna is such a cutie. She is a dog who would do best being the only dog but is taken to dog parks or dog day care to play with other dogs. She loves other dogs but has a hard time with her giving other dogs in the home attention. She is 10 months old and a cuddle bug. We are the 4th house she has been to...well, because she is a husky and lots of people do not know to train this breed of dog. She is a little afraid of men when she first meets them but warns up quickly if they are around all the time. We have been trying to find a home or a rescue to take her for over 2 months now and are having no luck because we need her to go to a forever home with lots of love. She sits, shakes, and lays down. She is dog door trained so we do not know how she would do without one to go outside to do her business. We sure do love her and are hoping to find a her a forever home soon as we are moving and can not take her with us. We do not want her to end up in shelter and have trauma from it.

Story
We think he’s purebred but not sure. He’s a beautiful dog with a near complete white coloring and different colored eyes. He’s about a year and a half as of spring 2025. He’s a friendly dog who love interaction but too big for young kids. Although he’s been let in the house at times he’s mostly lived in a solarium with an outdoor run area. He sleeps in a closed crate overnight and is not particularly noisy. Our life has just gotten too busy to spend the time with him that he really needs.
