Available 02/21/2025 This is Mayhem..... don't be scared of his name. He's just a husky, need we say more? We think this guy is around 2-3 years old. He has a ton of energy so if someone was willing to work with him he would be an amazing dog. He loves people, he LOVES attention, and he likes exploring. He seems to do decent with the dogs here at the shelter. If you wanted to start your own sled team, you need not look any further. Come in and meet this crazy guy! Story
Available 03/06/2025 This is Kenai, we think he is some type of husky mix and around a year old. This sweet boy came into the shelter in a ROUGH condition. He was so incredibly skinny with a chain tied around his neck. We made sure he was safe, well fed, and knowing that even while he is here he is loved. He has gained a good amount of weight since he came in, but he is still a little skinny so he needs lots of nutritious meals. He seems to be a little scared of new people at first but he does warm up and he loves scratches. He is incredibly treat motivated. He doesn't seem to love other dogs, but with proper introduction he may warm up. He just needs someone to love him and take care of him. Inquires and adoptions are on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in adoption feel free to stop by, call us, or message us on Facebook. Story
We think he’s purebred but not sure. He’s a beautiful dog with a near complete white coloring and different colored eyes. He’s about a year and a half as of spring 2025. He’s a friendly dog who love interaction but too big for young kids. Although he’s been let in the house at times he’s mostly lived in a solarium with an outdoor run area. He sleeps in a closed crate overnight and is not particularly noisy. Our life has just gotten too busy to spend the time with him that he really needs.

Story
I’m your future furry best friend—and let me tell you, I’m kind of a big deal (especially if you ask the squeaky toys I’ve conquered). Seriously, squeaky toys are my JAM. I’ll sniff out that squeaker like a pro and proudly de-squeak it in record time. It’s my personal mission. But my true happy place? The great outdoors! I’m all about that fresh air, zoomies in the yard, and soaking up the sunshine—total Husky vibes, right? Whether we’re running, playing, or just chilling outside, I’m 100% in my element. Good news on the home front: I keep my kennel pretty tidy, which means I’m likely partway house-trained and probably crate-trained too. I’m working on my leash manners (I just get so excited), but hey—who doesn’t need a little practice now and then? With some patience and treats (hint hint), I’ll be your walking sidekick in no time. I’ve got “sit” down (most of the time... unless there’s something super distracting—Husky things, you know?), and I’m a smart cookie who’s always up for learning new tricks if there’s fun involved! I’m a total sweetheart with kids and love being part of the action with my humans of all ages. Heads up: Huskies like me are master escape artists, so I’ll need a secure yard with a tall fence to keep my adventurous spirit safe and sound. I’ve got a curious mind and an independent streak, but with the right family by my side, I’ll be the most loyal, loving companion you could ask for. Just like most huskies, I can escape your traditional black wire crate set-up, so please crate-train me with a husky-certified crate, please, so that I can succeed. So if you’re an active, fun-loving crew looking for a playful, affectionate, slightly-sassy, squeaky-toy-destroying sidekick, then I’m your girl! Let’s go on adventures, snuggle after a day of fun, and make the best memories together.

Story
Meet Mowgli! Mowgli is a sweet and gentle 7 year old pup who absolutely loves people, especially kids, and thrives on affection. His favorite activity is going for walks where he can sniff and explore to his hearts content. He gets along well with other dogs, but would do best in home without cats. Mowgli came to us quite overweight, but he is already embracing his new healthy diet and exercise plan. If you would like to meet Mowgli or any of our other adoptable dogs, please fill out an application below. https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/PWTV/Dog
