Story
***NEEDS FOSTER or FUREVER HOME*** Currently in Jerome boarding kennels COMET is a typical sweet, smart, young husky who entered a local rural shelter during the 4th of July overflow where he was undoubtedly very scared. COMET walks great on leash and seems to know about heel speed. COMET loves to talk all day...nothing terrible, just exerting some energy. Unfortunately, at this time, he doesn't appear to enjoy the company of other dogs, but has been good with all kennel staff. We would love a foster home for COMET so that we can learn more about him. Story
INTRODUCING ARES!🐾 Ares is a 2 year old registered pure bred Siberian Husky that is ready to find his “furever” home! NO CATS OR LIVESTOCK, ESPECIALLY CHICKENS! Ares seems to do well with the female dogs in the foster home, but does not play nice (at least through the barriers) with the male dogs in the home. He is very well behaved otherwise. He sits for treats and takes them gently, lets you know when he needs to go outside for potty, and loves belly rubs. He has done well with the dog respectful kids in the home, but he is quite big, so would recommend older kids. He loves to play with a ball, and just wants to play. He is really good about going into his kennel, although he will tell you how much he dislikes it. If you are interested in Ares please send PAWS Rescue inc a message! His adoption fee is $300 and includes his neuter, vaccinations and microchip. Thank you Kelsee and Josh Gabel for fostering this beautiful guy! Thank you to “Marked in Time” Photography for this stunning pic of Ares.❤️

Hi, it's me Jade! I love to be front and center in all the fun! Read about me below and you will fall in LOVE. See me here: https://youtu.be/5c0C2EHhnrQ Meet Jade, a 4-year-old, 57-pound bundle of joy and charm! Jade loves everyone she meets. This silly girl has a playful, happy-go-lucky spirit that shines through in everything she does. She loves to frolic around with her silly smile and make you laugh with her energetic antics. Jade also loves water! Yep, buy her a baby pool or sprinkler and this girl will be right in the middle of it. She also requests her treat jar filled as she is a PRO at catching them mid air! Jade can also have fun with other dogs and is always up for a good romp or a game of chase. No matter BIG or small. Jade is a friend to all dogs. Her sweet personality is matched by her beautiful eyes, which are sure to mesmerize and win you over. Jade enjoys large playgroups with many different dogs. She at times can play or just hang out. Jade is a comforter and greeter with other dogs who are a bit cautious to join in play. She will empathetically check in to help reassure any nervous dog. She can have a home with dogs or be an only dog ,as long as she gets the attention she deserves. Jade also loves kids and they adore her! She has met kids of all ages. She was so loving and gentle with 3 year old Kobe. We think Jade would make a great addition to a family with children. Jade would love a home that will include her in hikes, walks, the water, travels and have a yard. Being a Husky, exercise and attention for this girl is a must. With her well-mannered and obedient nature, Jade is a great pup who would make a wonderful companion for anyone ready to embrace her fun-loving demeanor. She is not a jumpy girl either which makes her a great dog for a family. She has met kids ages 8 and 10 and did very well with them. If you're looking for a loyal friend who will fill your days with laughter and love, Jade is the one for you. Get ready to be charmed by her sweet spirit and joyful bounce! Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 25% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. Story
This sweet girl is named Ada. Ada is comfort on four paws, she’s a gentle, mellow girl seeking a gentle, quiet and kind home. She would make a wonderful work from home buddy, a great family dog, a fabulous retirement companion. She is a cuddly calm girl, ready to enjoy the finer things in life with you- couch snuggles, milkbones, and lazy mornings spent in bed. We think Ada is a husky mix of some sort, around 2 years old. She currently weighs in around 60 pounds, all legs and ears. Ada has partial iris heterochromia, with one half brown, half blue eye. Watch Ada here: https://youtu.be/T0zCnoJB0pQ?si=PmVqqT7n5fu-elE2 Ada is a weighted blanket. She’s a true lap dog, that will stay in your lap all day if you let her. She adores snuggling, more than any dog I’ve ever met. She’s incredibly gentle about her love, with no hard tail wacks or pushy paws in sight. When Ada meets a new person, she’ll calmly sit next to them, and softly, politely lean into their legs until they pet her. Ada is so friendly, so gentle, and so loving. It cannot be overstated. She’s an unbelievably sweet dog, the kind of dog that makes non-dog-people reconsider the whole species. Watch her video to see her love for yourself. Ada is dog friendly, and does well coexisting with other dogs. She isn’t overly playful with other dogs, but does well meeting and socializing with dogs. We think Ada would do best with a mellow male doggy sibling, or as an only dog. She’s a very relaxed dog, and an energetic dog would likely not be a good match for her, or her for them. She does well walking by dogs on leash, even when they’re barking, snarling or growling at her. She has wonderful leash manners, and settles quickly at your feet once you’ve stopped walking. Ada has impressive house manners. She’s not a counter surfer, or a pillow stealer, she is relaxed and confident in a home environment. Here at the rescue, we have not seen her have any indoor accidents. Ada is such a gentle and sweet girl, she takes treats very gently too. Ada is such a welcome presence, a soft and cozy dog just looking for her forever family. Ada’s perfect home would have at least one loving human to call her own, a couch for her to snuggle on, and a calm atmosphere. We think Ada would make an excellent family dog, with kids old enough to respect her boundaries and be gentle with her. Ada is such a loving and warm dog, and we hope to see her in her forever home soon. With any questions, please reach out to her adoption coordinator, whose email is linked below. We are willing to test Ada with anything you need us to in order to ensure she’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Please email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there!
