Story
Meet Arlo, a gentle beauty with a heart of gold! Arlo is a 3.5 year old neutered male Husky/German Shepherd mix who is the epitome of a love bug! With his sweet demeanor and affectionate nature, he'll capture your heart in no time. Despite his loving personality, Arlo does have Canine Compulsive Disorder (CCD), a common condition that's easily managed with medication (Fluoxetine aka Prozac - which he has been taking for over a year now, with great success). With the right treatment, he's able to live a happy, healthy life filled with snuggles, playtime, and endless love. But what really sets Arlo apart is his exceptional social skills! He's a natural with other dogs, playing and interacting with them in a gentle and respectful manner. And when it comes to kids, he's a patient and loving companion, always eager to please and gently playful. As for his favorite things, Arlo has a unique love for ice and water! He'll do just about anything for a cold cube or a refreshing splash. And, as a total affection junkie, he thrives on attention and affection from his people. We've learned to successfully manage Arlo's CCD by eliminating triggers such as toys and high-value treats when around other dogs. By being responsible and mindful of his needs, we've never had a single issue. With the right care and attention, Arlo is a happy, well-adjusted, and loving companion. If you're looking for a loyal companion who'll be by your side through thick and thin, Arlo is your perfect match. Apply to meet this special boy today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##1478076##

Story
If you are looking for the good with everything, sweetest husky on earth, look no further than this gorgeous boy!!! Ozzie is such a sweet pup and when he came into the pound, everyone was immediately in love! His personality was so soft, loving and social that everyone fell for him! Time and space was limited so thank goodness a great foster home agreed to take home this amazing boy until he finds his new home! Ozzie is 13 months old and currently weighs 44 lbs! He will likely fill out a little more but he is full grown. He immediately began going to the vets and he did great! He’s had all of his medical work completed including vaccines, heartworm tested negative, microchipped, dewormed, and he’s neutered! He’s also current on preventative and he’s a healthy thriving guy! This boy is truly a dream husky! He has suuuch an ultra loving and ultra sweet temperament…. To the point where he’s even great with cats!!! He’s fabulous with other dogs, happy to play and befriend all dogs, male and female, large and small. He has a very soft personality and is a social butterfly! He loves to play with toys, go for car rides and hikes, and he can’t wait to experience the snow! He would loooove a home with other dogs to play with but it isn’t a requirement, he’s just a lover of all friends! He’s great with people of all ages and not only is he so remarkably gorgeous, but his heart is so tender and loving he’s ready to join a family and be the most devoted, loving boy! He’s genuinely a dream husky and we can’t wait to see him find his forever home who will cherish him always! Story
This gorgeous Siberian Husky duo is dreaming of a forever home, together! They came into the pound as strays and it became clear that they were likely mother and daughter! Their bond is beautiful to see and given they’ve clearly spent their lives together, it seems as though it would be tragic to break up these sweet girls. The pound has stayed full and all the volunteers and officers have prayed these girls make it out to a better life. They stayed past their final date as everyone scrambled to find safety for them, and fortunately a volunteer couple was able to take them short term in the hopes that the home of their dreams comes along and saves them! They’ve since had all of their medical work completed! Aryana is the mama husky who is black and white with gorgeous blue eyes! She is 2 years old and weighs about 65 lbs. Kiona is the gorgeous snow white daughter with one blue eye and one brown eye. She is closer to 45 lbs and is 18 months old. These girls have now had their vaccines completed, microchipping, deworming, they are current on flea, tick, and heartworm preventative, they have been heartworm tested and spayed! They are doing amazing and ready to find a home to call their own! These girls are not only an absolutely gorgeous duo, but they are brilliant and lovely. Their relationship is a beautiful thing to watch and keeping them together will not only increase their quality of life and preserve their bond, but it also makes ownership much easier when you have a pair! In the morning these two are let out in the yard and play/exercise while their foster parents are getting ready for the day! Then when it’s time to go to work they’re all tuckered out. They keep each other company during the work day and are fabulous channeling each others medium activity level. They most definitely will always be up for any adventure, but on days when you’re not up for an adventure or have a long work day, or just want to relax, they’re fabulous at keeping each other occupied. They have a healthy relationship with food, they’ve been fantastic in the house, and sleep through the night beautifully in their foster parents bedroom. While their bond with each other is surely strong and wonderful, they also are incredibly smart and devoted to their humans. They know they need saving, and are forever grateful and loyal to those who have helped them along their journey to find safety and love. These fabulous young, beautiful, wonderful girls are destined for a life story full of love and joy, they just need parents who will welcome them into their hearts and build that wonderful future theyve been dreaming of. If you’d love to be their angel and make their dreams come true, please visit www.greatdivideanimalrescue.org and submit an application for adoption today!!!

Story
Sammy is a beautiful 8 year old husky. He is very sweet, curious, and seeks attention. He walks well on a loose leash, and is a social butterfly who would benefit from daily physical and mental exercise. Sammy is both crate and house trained and has mastered his basic obedience. He can be somewhat selective with other dogs, so a slow introduction is recommended. Unfortunately, he does not enjoy the company of cats. Sammy can emotionally regulate and has found his chill. He enjoys basking in the sun in the warmer months, and likes to romp in the snow during the colder seasons. The adoption fee for Sammy is $250. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.January 22, 2025, 2:44 pm
