Story
5 yo Axel and his sister Canada were rescued by their foster mom from a backyard breeder, and it was clear that they have gone through a lot in life. They are now looking for their forever home, where they can chase each other and play in a fully fenced yard. Axel and Canada are very calm and quiet husky -malamute pups They both enjoy being outside and going on car rides. They know the leashes very well. They get very excited, so they will pull when walking them. They need a dog owner with active lifestyles and plenty of time. They know to shake before going into the house. They know their beds. They know to sit before taking a snack. They both enjoy being outside chewing on a rawhide-free toy under the sun. I know they’re huskies, but they do like sun-bathing. Canada is the female black and white Siberian Husky. She is about 60 lbs. She enjoys lower back scratches and being brushed. Canada likes to watch and stare at anything you do. She is a curious girl. She is still hesitant about humans. So please be easy and slow with her. She likes to start by smelling your hands. I guess that’s her way of knowing if their evil hands or good hands. She does not do well with children of all ages, just adults. She doesn’t mind meeting other dogs. Axel is the white malamute/husky mix. He is about 50 lbs, and he is a jolly boy. He will greet anyone with a big grin, a wagging tail, and the happy energy that only a husky can emanate. He will sit with his back against your two feet and wait for pets. He is smart. He knows the drill. Once you have a routine, he will get it quickly. He likes to get on furniture. His personality is lively. He is a toy hogger. He likes to have access to all the toys. He doesn’t like meeting other dogs. He prefers to only play with his sister, Canada. He loves getting his belly rubbed. He enjoys cuddles, too. These two need positive reinforcement after what they have been through. They deserve a chance to live the other half of their lives being huskies. Canada and Axel both really have the best of hearts. They just need love. They are fully vetted, fixed and chipped. They would do good with anyone with previous husky experience. They are bonded, so they have to find a home where they can be adopted together. We prefer a home without other pets or kids. They are both heartworm negative and is kept on heartworm and flea preventative. The pups are being fostered in Texas, but can travel to any state, and even Canada for the right home. To meet these gorgeous pups via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. ❄️🐾😍

Story
Meet Bonnie, the pint-sized bundle of joy with a huge heart and the cutest little blonde eyebrows you’ve ever seen! This black-and-white beauty is what we like to call a “fun-sized adventurer” — just the right size to hop in the car for road trips, trail walks, or coffee runs, but also perfectly content curling up beside you for a long nap afterward. Bonnie is one of those dogs who instantly makes you feel special. She loves everyone she meets and doesn’t waste a second before wiggling her way right into your lap. She’s affectionate, snuggly, and always ready to smother you in kisses. If you sit down, she’s on the couch beside you in seconds, tail wagging and eyes sparkling like she’s known you forever. She’s truly one of those dogs who makes every day brighter with her joy and love. Watch Bonnie's wiggles in action in her video! https://youtu.be/h1QhaQfdipQ?si=LLC4tLfYzQ4TEAhU In her foster home, Bonnie lives with a whole crew of dogs — from a Great Dane to a couple of pint-sized pups — and she fits right in! She may take a little time to warm up to new doggy friends, but once she does, she loves to play and romp around. She’d be happiest with another friendly, medium-energy dog to be her partner in fun. She’s playful but not over the top, and she really shines when she’s part of a happy, active household. Bonnie absolutely loves meeting new people and going on outings, though she’s still learning to keep her excitement in check on the leash — she can talk a little when she sees someone new because she just can’t contain her joy! For that reason, she’d do best in a home with a yard rather than an apartment. She’s the type of dog who thrives with an active family that enjoys adventures as much as she does. She’s a quick learner and very eager to please, so with a little consistency and patience, she’ll master her leash manners in no time. We think Bonnie would be wonderful with older kids who can keep up with her energy and join her in all her adventures — she’s sweet, loving, and has a big, gentle heart. She’s just the kind of dog who would love to tag along for every family activity, whether it’s a hike, a car ride, or a cozy movie night. One thing to note — Bonnie is not looking for a home with cats. Her curious, herding-dog side tends to kick in, and she finds cats way too interesting to resist chasing. So, a feline-free home will be best for everyone! At the end of the day, Bonnie is a truly special girl — affectionate, goofy, loyal, and full of love. She’s the kind of dog who will greet you every morning with a wagging tail, make you laugh with her silly antics, and melt your heart every single day. If you’re looking for a best friend who will fill your life with love, adventure, and endless snuggles, Bonnie is ready to steal your heart! Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
Sandy is as sweet as her name! This gentle 9-month-old pup has the dreamiest sandy-colored coat that’s as soft as velvet—perfect for endless snuggles on the couch. She’s a total heart-stealer with her soulful eyes, sweet personality, and calm, cuddly nature. If you’re looking for a puppy who’s just as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside, Sandy is your girl. See her sweet self shine in her video! https://youtu.be/iHT-t4KC_aA?feature=shared She’s believed to be a Husky/Shepherd mix (though with rescues, it’s always a bit of a guess), but what’s certain is that she’s full of love. Sandy’s favorite spot is in a warm lap, soaking up affection, and she adores her people once she feels safe and secure. In her foster home, Sandy has been learning all about family life with both dogs and cats. She loves playing tug-of-war with her foster dog sibling and enjoys joining her foster dad for walks. She even takes treats gently when hanging out with her sister pup. Around cats, she can be a little unsure at first, but with time, she’s learning how to live peacefully alongside them. Sandy is still shy in new places and around new faces. At first, she may prefer to hang back or find a cozy spot to watch from, but with patience and love, she warms up and shows her affectionate, playful side. Another medium-energy dog in the home would be a wonderful confidence-booster for her. Because she’s sensitive, Sandy wouldn’t thrive in an apartment or city setting—she’ll do best in a quieter home with space to stretch out and time to settle in. She’ll likely seek out safe little nooks in her new home at first, but over time, she’ll blossom into a loving, loyal companion who just wants to be close to her people. If you’re searching for a gorgeous, soft, and affectionate puppy who needs just a little extra patience to shine, Sandy is waiting to steal your heart. She’s ready to bring her sweetness, her snuggles, and her beautiful sandy glow into a forever home that will love her for the gentle soul she is. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
