Prince is a wonderful dog but I think he needs to be in a home where he is the only dog. He likes all the attention!! He is protective and loyal. He is a big dog so might not be good with small children. He gets along great with my other rescues. I have had him almost 3 years so he is around 5.

Judy   Female, Siberian Husky, Estimated Date of Birth 5/12/2019 (5 years), weight 64lbs   Affectionate by nature, Judy is all about love: soaking it up and dishing it out in equal measure. When someone showers her with affection, her happy meter wags enthusiastically. But what truly makes her heart skip a beat is the prospect of having a family of her own.    Judy is very playful.  She loves tug of war, chasing after balls and sniffing out those elusive squirrels. And yet, there's a softer side to this Judy too. She finds contentment lying beneath the shade of a tree, savoring the beauty of the day. And when you're busy at work, Judy is more than happy to be your trusted companion, nestled under the desk, keeping you company.   Above all else, Judy's heart yearns to be with her people. Love and companionship is the heartbeat of her existence. With an eagerness to learn, Judy strives to please her family. Treats, praise, and attention encourage her on to be the very best furry friend she can be. Her deepest wish is to find a real family, one that will embrace her with open arms and shower her with the love she so fervently dreams of.   No Dogs No Cats Kids OK House trained Leash trained Crate trained     * A generous donor sponsored the adoption fee which helps cover vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, deworming and microchipping. Judy can be transported to  Hagerstown, MD;  Milford PA; Plantsville CT; and Warwick RI for a fee of $200.   * The application is the first step in all inquiries and adoptions      Canine Compassion Fund - Online Adoption Application www.caninecompassionfund.org/Forms/OnlineAdoptionApplication   * Additional information is available on our site caninecompassionfund.org January 2, 2025, 10:24 am

Story
Hi there! My name is Kiara, and I’m a 1-year-old Husky pup bursting with energy and love to share! I might be young, but I already know how to keep up with the big dogs—like my 3-year-old doggy brother, who I follow everywhere. I get along great with other dogs, and I think cats and I could probably be friends. Kids? Sure! But I’ll need a little guidance so we can all play safely together. I’m still learning the basics of training, but guess what? My recall is already pretty amazing—just call my name, and I’m there! I’m a big fan of running (can you catch me?) and love being chased around the yard. But don’t worry, once I’ve tired myself out, I’m also a grade-A cuddle bug. If you’re looking for an adventure buddy who also loves snuggling on the couch, I’m your girl. So, what do you say? Ready to make me part of your pack? Let’s chase, cuddle, and grow together!

Story
Welcome Leia to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Leia is a 5 month old pup that is Husky/Staffordshire Terrier. A picture of the mom and dad are available. Both are very friendly and social dogs. The pups would be good with children. Lia is the most shy of the 4 pack. All these pups are smart and willing to learn and work well when you train with them. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. The unspayed female was around the male and in just minutes she was pregnant with 10 puppies. These 5 are still available for adoption. All have had 3 rounds of puppy shots, microchipped and will be altered before adoption. Their mom is 65 pounds so we think these pups will be 65 pounds. They know sit, wait and are the ultimate water dogs. They like to play and swim in the foster’s swimming pool. They would all make great camping companions. They love other dogs and all people including kiddos. They have the bushy coat like the Husky and several of them have ice-blue eyes. Lia is the smallest female. She is a little shy but sweet and one of the more vocal. She would warn you if someone was at the door or at the fence. She is a nice girl and since he is the smallest girl we think he will for sure be 55 pounds. She is mostly potty trained but will need more consistency than the foster can provide with 4 puppies. They are good in a crate and in a car. They are currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get any of this litter (2 girls and 2 boys) to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
