Story
Taz is a riot! He’s full of playful energy and likes to keep active. He’s always ready for fun, and he creates the fun himself if need be. He’s a big time toy lover, though he does have a short attention span with them. He’s still very much a puppy at heart which leads to all kinds of goofy behavior! He has what is now known as a smooth brain…meaning he doesn’t seem to have all that much going on between his ears, but he’s such a happy boy and always having so much fun that it doesn’t really matter. Taz is always excited to get out of his kennel and get some exercise. He seems to have an endless supply of energy, and only stops for pets every now and then.

Story
Extremely playful and cuddlyHey there!! I'm Scoobie...... I'm a 8-9 month old Corgi mix, looking for my forever home! I haven't had a lot of socialization, so right now new people and new dogs make me nervous. But with a little patience I warm up and will fall in LOVE with you. I do well other dogs of all sizes, with proper introductions. My foster mom is currently working on socializing me with other humans and dogs and I'm doing so much better than I did when she first got me.  I still have a lot of puppy energy, so a good walk once a day, along with some obedience training will help tire me out. I am currently learning how to sit on command, crate, wait to be let out of my crate, and wait before eating my food. Foster mom calls this impulse control and supposedly it will help make my new family really happy, so I'm am putting in all the effort to master it. I walk pretty good on a leash, but can always use a reminder to not pull on the leash. I enjoy playing with other dogs, its my favorite thing to do. When I can't play with dogs I like to cuddle with my humans, and play with the flirt poll foster mom. I also look puzzles, and learning new things. If I get super excited I do tend to go after the humans heels, which is typical for my breed. After all corgi's are part of the herding breed class. You can also check out my foster's social media pages to see some more pictures and videos of me. My adoption fee is $350 locally in Houston, TX and available for adoption out of state for $550 (includes health certificate and travel fee). It also includes all my age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter and microchip. Fill out an app at: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=SQYPSGVQNovember 5, 2024, 9:38 pm

Story
Miles is the perfect blend of dapper gentleman and fun-loving playmate. He’s a dapper playmate! He’s very intelligent and well mannered – that’s where the gentleman part comes in! He’s great on a leash and already knows how to sit and lay on command. A lot of the time if you tell him to sit he’ll quickly transition into a lay before you even ask him to – he’s that eager to please (or earn a treat!). He typically has a medium energy level, but he can kick it into a higher gear if it’s playtime. He loves toys and will toss them around and play with them all by himself sometimes. Regardless of if he’s in playful or gentleman mode, Miles loves to be around people. He enjoys attention and really loves to be pet. He’s very sweet and friendly. Miles came into the shelter as a stray alongside Gwen A047662 on 10/4/24.
