Story
Meet Samson – A Stunning Husky in Need of a Hero ❄️🐺This is Samson, a 3-year-old full-blooded Husky with striking good looks, a heart full of loyalty, and the boundless energy you'd expect from his breed. Samson was surrendered by his previous owner—not because of anything he did, but simply because life changed. Now, he's sitting in a crowded shelter, and time is running out.Samson is the kind of dog that turns heads on walks—beautiful blue eyes, thick plush coat, and that classic Husky charm. But he’s not just a pretty face—he’s smart, alert, and ready for adventure! Like any true Husky, Samson needs daily exercise, space to roam, and someone who understands his active spirit. He'd thrive in a home with a fenced yard, an active owner, or even as a hiking buddy. He’s good-natured, affectionate, and ready to bond deeply with his forever person.⚠️ Samson is at risk in the shelter, but a rescue is ready to step in and cover his neuter and transport—if we can find an approved adopter or foster. Please don’t let this incredible boy fade away in a kennel. Give Samson the second chance he deserves. He’ll give you a lifetime of loyalty in return.📍Available for adoption across state lines—let’s get him to safety! Story
Hi, I`m Purple Rain! I`m about 2 years old and weigh 53 pounds.** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I originally entered the shelter with a couple of Husky pals, but haven`t really enjoyed meeting new dogs at the shelter. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet to see if we hit it off.Cats? It is unknown how I will do with cats, after slow introductions and separation of space I might be able to live with a kitty.Kids? I haven`t met any kids here at the shelter yet, and would like to start out meeting dog savvy kids who can respect my space. (6+)Anything else you`d like us to know, Purple Rain? I`m a goofy husky and can be pretty quirky. I love getting pets and hanging out near my people. If you are looking for a silly adventure buddy I`m your gal.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license.
