Story
My name is Brylee, and I am a sweet and gentle girl. I haven't had the best life and am still learning that people can be kind. Currently I like to lay in my safe spot in my foster home and will only eat my food when no one is watching. But I don't plan to always be this way! In a loving home, I know I will come out of my shell and will learn how to really enjoy life. I'm a special girl who will be a super rewarding project. I know I am capable of giving so much love, I just have to learn to trust you first. So if you have a little bit of patience and a lot of love to give, maybe consider giving me a try. All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. If you are interested in this pet, please fill out the brief Adopter Survey by hitting "Apply for Adoption" on the profile. After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and leash to pick up. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. Story
Meet Syrena, a delightful and playful pup who's sure to bring endless joy to her forever family! She's a 9-month old Husky/Golden Retriever mix who weighs about 40 pounds. Syrena is a bundle of fun with a zest for playtime. Whether she's romping around with her doggy friends, splashing in her pool, or enjoying a game of hide-and-seek with her squeaky ball, she’s always up for a good time. When she's not playing, she loves to relax in her fenced yard, soaking up the great outdoors. Though Syrena may initially be a bit shy with new people, her timidness quickly melts away once she’s with another dog. Her playful spirit shines through as she grows more confident and curious. A companion dog and a fenced yard is essential for her, providing comfort and reassurance as she navigates new situations. She also gets along well with cats and kids! Though kids 8+ would be best because small children and their quick movements can make her nervous. Syrena is also an excellent walking buddy, making every outing a pleasure. She’s calm and focused, enjoying both long hikes and leisurely strolls without getting distracted by the world around her.  If you're looking for a fun-loving, energetic dog to join your family, Syrena might just be your perfect match. She’s eager to find a home where she can share her boundless enthusiasm and affectionate nature. Could you be the one to give her the forever family she’s dreaming of? Her minimum adoption fee is $195 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
