Story
Meet Rindle the sweet but shy brindle boy. Rindle is a 4 year old greyhound mix. He weighs approximately 80lbs and is in good health. Rindle is housebroken and has very good house manners. He knows all his commands and walks well on a leash. Rindle is a true greyhound where he likes to spend his day on the couch or doing zoomies in the yard. Rindle loves his walks and gets super excited while getting ready but immediately settles down when we get outside. He loves his foster family and his foster fur brother but he needs time to warm up to new people and dogs. Rindle does have the greyhound prey instinct and is always on backyard bunny patrol. Due to the prey instinct cats and small dogs are not a good fit and he is not used to small children so it is recommended a family with older children or young adults. Rindle is looking for a family who will be super patient and let him open up to them and accept them into his pack. He is protective of his foster family but has learned to socialize with other people at daycare. Rindle has been so fun to train and is so smart and ready to learn more. If you live in Canada within 3 hours of Toronto and would like to meet Randal and learn more about him and our foster to adopt program, please email our rescue at c4ptoronto@gmail.com.

Story
PLEASE READ BONNIE’S BIO IN DETAIL TO ENSURE THAT HE WILL BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE BEORE APPLYING. PEASE NOTE: SHEE IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE OTTAWA, ON AREA We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption. NAME: Bonnie Age: 2 years old Breed: Mexi-Mix Sex: Female Weight: 35 lbs Location: Ottawa, ON Adoption fee: $600.00 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Leash trained: Work in progress House trained: Yes Kids/Cats/Dogs: Yes - dogs, cats unknown, children 15+ Vetting: Up to date on all vaccination, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for Heart worm. Currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, dewormed and vet checked before arriving. Medical Issues: NONE Comes with 4 weeks free pet insurance (after initial vet visit) Bonnie has had a difficult life, she was left, abandoned, tied to a pole by her owner, pregnant and alone in Mexico. Bonnie was terrified and wouldn’t let anyone near her but a kind neighbour detached her chain and let her go, however Bonnie kept coming back to the same place, waiting for her owner The rest of the neighbourhood were annoyed by her and began throwing stones at her and beating her. Our sister rescue SOS el Arca had a difficult time catching her but they did and she had 9 puppies, all of whom are now adopted. Bonnie is a very sweet and beautiful dog who loves to cuddle and who has so much love to give. Once she warms up, she is yours forever. She is a shy little girl who will need time to decompress but with time, patience and love Bonnie will be your cherished companion. Bonnie requires a calm environment with someone who has experience with shy dogs and one who will have the patience to go slow with her. A home with a fenced in yard for security is important. Another dog in the home is important for her since it gives her some security and confidence. Teenage children only for Bonnie since small children can make her nervous, since she does have some prey drive no cats for her. She loves being outside and running around with her fur siblings, a boy and a girl and she lives romping in the snow. She is always ready for a walk and to go and explore the hood. Although she is cautious and shy of new people we believe, since she is food driven, treats will help her in this matter. If you feel you would be the right fit for Bonnie, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/ All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety. NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed. BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
