Story
Meet Blizzard! He is currently 15 pounds, almost 4 months old, and we think he may be a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place Watch Blizzard’s video here: * coming soon * . Do you need a snuggly little fluffball in your life? (Hint: The answer is always yes.) We think that everyone needs to enjoy the amazing cuddle experience that Blizzard can provide. This affectionate pup is an award-winning snuggle buddy (we gave him that award, full disclosure, for fluffiest floofer snuggles) that just can’t be beat. In fact, several of us are campaigning to change his name to Floofy Warm Snuggle Blizzard, but the vote is at a stalemate, so we will let you decide! This handsome fellow is playful, loving, and did we mention snuggly? His coat is growing in long and soft and you will find yourself petting him over and over (and Blizzard will happily bask in your attention). He is mostly a gorgeous creamy white and cream with a bit of grey at the ends of his ears (along with some faint ear freckles). But perhaps the most amazing part of Blizzard’s physical appearance is his amazing freckled belly - it simply begs for belly rubs! And sure, Blizzard is gorgeous in appearance, but this personable pup has the personality to back it all up. He is friendly and outgoing, and will give out just as many kisses as you give him (plus a few extra, for good measure). This handsome cheerful guy is sure to put a smile on your face and delight everyone he meets. Blizzard is currently in a loving foster home and loves to play with his foster siblings, who are all larger than him. Apply to adopt this charming boy today and bring a little Floofy Warm Snuggle Blizzard into your family! Blizzard is still young so he will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. His new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/66fd58d07ffba218b70b7a6a Please email tim@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1,000.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. DISCLAIMER- Breed type is determined based on general appearance and behavioral characteristics, and cannot be guaranteed unless DNA test results or AKC registration were provided at intake.

Story
Video (copy and paste into your browser) https://www.youtube.com/shorts/_pYzOSiSlDo Burt Macklin is a big, goofy boy who is about 4 months old. He still has some of his puppy teeth. He is a great pyrenees mix and will be a big boy. He is the sweetest boy who has no idea how big he is. He is great with other dogs, people and with cats. He was dropped off at my vet by someone who said he was dumped at their place. Another rescue was supposed to take him but they backed out so I took him in. He will make a great family dog. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 2, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection. Story
Dizzy is a loving and protective dog. Loves women and children but needs to be introduced to men. She has been a working dog on 6 acres with goats, chickens and alpaca but we have recently moved and she is not adjusting to the smaller property and no longer has a job. She is lonely and bored. She is trained on an invisible fence and is typically outside but happy coming inside for short periods of time. She is very social but would do best on a larger property with a job.

Story
Introducing Sulas, the ultimate heartthrob with a dash of goofball charm! Born around April 2022, this stunningly handsome boy has a signature look that will make you smile every time—the tip of his tongue is always peeking out, as if he’s permanently caught mid-thought, adding an extra dose of cuteness to his already adorable personality. But wait, that’s not all—Sulas has a special trick up his sleeve, or rather, his paw! He has a sweet way of wrapping his paw around your leg like he’s giving you a big ol’ hug, a gesture that’s guaranteed to melt your heart! Sulas is a big, playful goof who loves being chased by his foster dog pals, especially if it involves zooming around at record-breaking speeds and splashing through rain puddles. Despite his playful nature, Sully also has a mellow side and enjoys lounging around and contemplating the world around him. He's affectionate in his own laid-back way and loves nothing more than a good cuddle. He’s outgrown the wild puppy days and now sports impeccable house manners and a repertoire of basic commands, earning him the reputation as a perfect gentleman. Sulas is an easy companion to have around with his excellent leash skills and his willingness to head to his crate, especially if there's a delicious treat waiting for him.  Sulas thrives on running and playing at the dog park, so a spacious yard or easy access to a nearby park is essential for his happiness. Sully is a bit of a ladies’ man, so he would do best with a compatible female friend, although he could also thrive as an only dog.  Just don’t expect him to make friends with small dogs or cats, or really any high-energy being—he prefers the company of four-legged and two-legged companions who can keep up with his cool, easygoing vibe. Charming and affectionate, Sulas is ready to find his forever home! If you’re looking for a personal leg-hugging teddy bear with a fun, unique flair, apply to adopt Sulas—you won’t be disappointed! Story
Introducing Madison, the enchanting beauty who’s ready to weave her way into your heart and your home!  Born in December 2021, Madison’s striking appearance is impossible to ignore—with her glossy coat and expressive eyes, she’s the kind of girl who turns heads at the dog park.  But it’s not just her looks that make her special; it’s her playful spirit and love for life that truly set her apart. Playtime with Madison is like a burst of confetti! She’ll happily chase after her foster siblings, and when her foster momma joins in, it’s a symphony of tail wags and giggles. But watch out—she’s a master of stealth, loving nothing more than to quietly sneak up on her unsuspecting playmates so she can get ‘em!  When she’s not practicing her undercover ninja skills, Madison is the epitome of chill. She’s the dog you want by your side during Netflix marathons or lazy Sunday afternoons. Madison craves snuggles and will nuzzle into your lap, eyes shining with trust and affection. And when you scratch behind her ears and give her a belly rub? Pure bliss. Madison’s culinary preferences are delightfully diverse. She’ll happily munch on any treat you offer, but her true weakness? Cheese! Yes, this girl knows how to savor the finer things in life. Speaking of the finer things, Madison loves her crate and considers it her sanctuary, a cozy nook where she snuggles up with her favorite toys and dreams of sunny days and cheese-filled picnics.  Socially, Madison is a gem. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and just needs a gentle hello to make new friends. And puppies? Well, they’re her weakness—she adores their wiggly antics and sweet puppy breath. As for cats, Madison remains nonchalant. They’re a bit mysterious, like creatures from another dimension, but she’s not bothered. She’d rather focus on her walks, where she struts her stuff with grace and curiosity. Car rides? Well, if there’s ice cream involved, count her in! According to her foster momma, Madison is one of the sweetest girls she's ever known—a true lovebug who adores people and showers affection on everyone she meets.  So, if you’re ready for a dash of sweetness, a sprinkle of fun mischief, and a whole lot of love, Madison is waiting for you! This sweet girl deserves nothing but the best, including a forever home where treats flow like water, cuddles are unlimited, and cheese is the secret ingredient to happiness. Story
Meet Rocky, the care-free young pup reminiscent of a mini polar bear with his stout build and fluffy white coat. Despite having a smaller stature than is typical for a Pyrenees, he has a personality that is larger than life! Born in September 2022, Rocky is a happy-go-lucky fellow who is equally content cuddling up next to you or romping around with another dog. His energy level is moderate, with a round of zoomies each day being a highlight of his routine.  When he’s not playing or indulging his curious nature, he enjoys napping on the cool tile.  Rocky is not one to shy away from affection and will gladly plop his round rump in your lap, despite his size. His happy demeanor is infectious, making it impossible to stay mad at him, even when he's caught in the act.  Rocky is friendly with most dogs, although he can be a bit too playful for older dogs. Due to his exuberance, he would be best suited for a Pyr-experienced household with younger adults or middle-aged individuals with grown children. Rocky is looking for a loving family who will appreciate his jovial nature and provide him with the guidance and care he needs to thrive. If you're ready to welcome this happy fellow with a smile that’s pure magic into your home, Rocky could be the perfect match for you!
