Story
Blue came to me when I purchased his brother as a livestock guardian for my goats. The sellers told me that whichever of the two I didn't take would be surrendered to a shelter, so I took them both in hopes of fostering Blue until finding a suitable forever home. Blue is not like his family, who are all very Pyrenees and very livestock focused. I think there may be a bit of Blue Heeler in his background and that he exhibits far more Heeler character than sheepdog. He has no desire to bond with the goats, and is very focused on territorial protection. This would be fine, but he has another issue: he is terrified of men, especially dark haired and bearded...like my husband. He also has separation anxiety and is super reactive to hearing raised voices. I'm not sure where his trauma began, but he needs healing. Otherwise he is an absolute darling. He's beautiful, cuddly, playful, and gives kisses on request. He would be an excellent security for a lesbian farm commune! Jk, but really.

Story
Aspen was abandoned on the side of the road when he was two months old & picked up by family. The shelter couldn’t locate the original family & we opted to adopt him at the end of September 2023. We performed genetic testing that we can forward to the new owner & he is 50% great Pyrenees, 35% Australian cattle dog, & a smattering of other breeds. We socialized him early & often & he does fine at dog parks. He has been living with an 11-year-old, extremely docile chow chow. A large number of times, he has transferred aggression from anxiety to attacking her. He gets most anxious from any front door activity. Most recently, I walked out the front door to rake leaves & about 30 seconds later I heard barking & yelping. He’s a handsome, smart dog who loves attention & trained not to get on beds and sofas. Bday~ 8/4/23. ~105lbs. He brilliantly adheres to boundaries. You can sit outside & let him roam around & he will not stray more than a few feet from your property. Good guard dog.

Story
Introducing Madison, the enchanting beauty who’s ready to weave her way into your heart and your home!  Born in December 2021, Madison’s striking appearance is impossible to ignore—with her glossy coat and expressive eyes, she’s the kind of girl who turns heads at the dog park.  But it’s not just her looks that make her special; it’s her playful spirit and love for life that truly set her apart. Playtime with Madison is like a burst of confetti! She’ll happily chase after her foster siblings, and when her foster momma joins in, it’s a symphony of tail wags and giggles. But watch out—she’s a master of stealth, loving nothing more than to quietly sneak up on her unsuspecting playmates so she can get ‘em!  When she’s not practicing her undercover ninja skills, Madison is the epitome of chill. She’s the dog you want by your side during Netflix marathons or lazy Sunday afternoons. Madison craves snuggles and will nuzzle into your lap, eyes shining with trust and affection. And when you scratch behind her ears and give her a belly rub? Pure bliss. Madison’s culinary preferences are delightfully diverse. She’ll happily munch on any treat you offer, but her true weakness? Cheese! Yes, this girl knows how to savor the finer things in life. Speaking of the finer things, Madison loves her crate and considers it her sanctuary, a cozy nook where she snuggles up with her favorite toys and dreams of sunny days and cheese-filled picnics.  Socially, Madison is a gem. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and just needs a gentle hello to make new friends. And puppies? Well, they’re her weakness—she adores their wiggly antics and sweet puppy breath. As for cats, Madison remains nonchalant. They’re a bit mysterious, like creatures from another dimension, but she’s not bothered. She’d rather focus on her walks, where she struts her stuff with grace and curiosity. Car rides? Well, if there’s ice cream involved, count her in! According to her foster momma, Madison is one of the sweetest girls she's ever known—a true lovebug who adores people and showers affection on everyone she meets.  So, if you’re ready for a dash of sweetness, a sprinkle of fun mischief, and a whole lot of love, Madison is waiting for you! This sweet girl deserves nothing but the best, including a forever home where treats flow like water, cuddles are unlimited, and cheese is the secret ingredient to happiness. Story
Meet Rocky, the care-free young pup reminiscent of a mini polar bear! This stout Great Pyrenees may be compact in size, but he more than makes up for it with his larger-than-life personality. Born in September 2022, Rocky is a happy-go-lucky fellow who’s equally content cuddling up next to you or racing around the yard with another dog. Rocky's moderate energy level means you'll be treated to his daily zoomies—sometimes even twice a day—before he flops down on the cool tile for a well-deserved nap. Rocky’s not one to shy away from affection and will gladly plop his round rump in your lap, despite his size. Inside or outside, Rocky is just plain happy to be there, and if you catch him doing something he maybe shouldn't, he'll flash you a grin that makes it absolutely impossible to stay mad at him! True to his Pyr roots, Rocky does have a bit of a stubborn streak, so he’ll thrive best in a home with a Pyr-savvy owner who can gently finesse him into following commands. Rocky is friendly with most dogs and loves to play, although older dogs might find him a tad too exuberant. As for cats? They’re a definite no-go for this lad! Rocky is quick to learn when you’ve got his favorite snack in hand, and he’s already mastered the crate, making him a fantastic housemate. He’ll happily alert you to anything suspicious in the yard (like shifty-looking leaves or suspicious squirrels) with a moderate bark, but nothing that would make you need earplugs. Rocky is looking for a loving family who will appreciate his jovial nature and provide him with the guidance and care he needs to thrive. He would do best in a home with younger adults or a Pyr-experienced middle-aged family with older kids. If you're ready to welcome this happy fellow with a smile that’s pure magic into your home, Rocky could be the perfect match for you! Story
Introducing Murphy, the charismatic charmer with eyes that capture hearts and a personality that lights up every room! This young pup is not your average canine companion; he's a delightful blend of goofiness, sweetness, and playful energy. Born in May 2022, Murphy's most striking feature is undoubtedly his captivating eyes, which seem to hold a world of wonder and mischief within them. Coupled with his goofy personality, he's guaranteed to keep you entertained with his playful antics and charming quirks. Despite his boisterous nature, Murphy is a sweetheart who adores people of all ages, as well as furry friends of the larger nature. While he’s not a big fan of small dogs or cats, Murphy is a big love bug full of enthusiasm and affection. While Murphy's exuberance may be a bit much for younger children, older kids who understand how to interact with large dogs will find him to be an ideal companion. Murphy will also need at least one other (large) furry playmate that loves to play and romp around as much as he does! Murphy is a pup that craves adventure and thrives on activity. An owner who enjoys an active lifestyle and is eager to explore the great outdoors would be the perfect match for him. And when it's time to unwind, Murphy is more than happy to snuggle up in your arms, showering you with kisses and affection, melting away any stress or worries with his loving presence. If you're searching for a big, lovable boy who's equal parts playful and affectionate, look no further than Murphy!
