Story
If you are looking for a gentle family dog, that resembles a fluffy cloud with the floof of a polar bear, you have found him! He is incredibly dog-friendly, can catch a ball in his mouth, has wonderful house manners (including being house-trained) adores kids, and is great on leash including walking beside a stroller. The list could go on and on. I am enamored by how easy his company feels, familiar and so comfortable. Plus he is so darn handsome! You can see more including his love of a ball and his gentleness with kids. https://youtu.be/hASd1s9EqFk Franco has been fortunate to spend his time waiting for his adoption day in the home of a loving family. This is where his love of kids was discovered. With a newly crawling baby in the house it was clear that he understood gentleness and peacefulness were important and he delivered! This is how we know that he is quiet in his crate but will occasionally let out a little wooowooooo, a cuter than cute sound. This is also how we know he loves toys, understands the difference between his toys and the babies, and likes to carry a toy in his mouth when he goes outside to go potty. This is the kind of happy, easy boy who you will look out the window and see laying peacefully in the grass, with his toy and the sun shining on him. Heavenly! He has an easy-going nature and dreams of a family of his own to spend forever with. If you are looking for chaos and wild, Franco here is not the one for you, his entire being exudes gentle and calm, love and warmth. Best described as a couch potato, the opposite of busy or wild. Estimated to be 3 years old, weighing a perfect 79 lbs, this boy is carrying a big loving heart and all the traits of an adoring, loyal dog. His demeanor and look lead us to believe he is a German Shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix but breed and age are details we cannot offer 100% certainty, given the nature of him being a rescue. We can absolutely guarantee Franco is a heart-warming face with a gentle nature. One of my favorite things about is how peaceful his presence is. He is quiet company that feels like you have always known. Franco’s sense of good-company is seen with other dogs as well. We introduced him to a handful of new dogs to gauge his playfulness and friendliness with other dogs and we saw the same- friendly and easy-going. He was at ease and made connections with a variety of dogs, big and small, showing so much patience to some extra pushy and excited new friends. He has recently been accepted to a doggie-day-care program and comes home with A+ report cards! Franco is definitely dog friendly but does not need dogs to feel happy. Being a solo-dog would be no problem for Franco, he is at peace with just the company of his people. The only no we know is Franco needs a cat-free home. We feel confident his eagerness when introduced to our house cat was friendly but his size would be a bit much if he decided to chase the cat or even jump up to get a peek of him. Given his size and nature, we would love to see Franco in a home where his natural pace is welcome. A house with a yard though apartment/condo life is not off the table, a loving family, a playful but mellow-friend is welcome but simply- the good life. I can’t imagine many homes Franco wouldn’t be well suited for. He is going to show up and feel like he has always been yours. Plus, you’ll often have what looks like a polar bear skin rug on the ground when he is resting, very chic! If you can guard his big loving heart and keep the love coming his way, he promises sweetness, adoration, and loyalty in return. So, if you're looking for a four-legged friend who's sheer presence is calming, charming and one who has a golden-good heart, Franco is ready and available for adoption! Questions? Story
This is Allen, my ~5 year old Great Pyrenees who will be your companion and protector for life. He's incredibly loyal, and works hard to protect you against the worst of threats. (evil squirrels) He is loving and affectionate towards all people and knows no stranger. He likes to relax by taking up as much of your couch as possible for napping, rolling over to let you brush him, and accompanying you on every car ride. Allen is looking for a large yard to roam and watch over in a rural environment. He is at first skeptical of other pets, but as long as they're neutered and will let him sniff/inspect them for 3 minutes, he'll warm right up and be their protector. Allen just had a checkup with our veterinarian and passed with flying colors. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, will need a teeth cleaning in the next year, and has a gabapentin prescription for anxiety as needed. I'm willing to drive a distance for the right home. Please reach out only if you are an experienced LGD owner.

Story
Yuki is a female spayed 4 year old AKC registered purebred all white great pyrenees. She is a very sweet dog and gets along well with all people and children. Yuki is a large guardian breed dog and acts like it. She is protective over her animals and people so does well with other dogs and animals in the right circumstances but otherwise is not cat or dog friendly. Her favorite thing to do is to give people hugs. Great temperament with people, well trained, up to date on grooming and healthy with no significant previous medical history. She is needing a new home so that she can continue to have to have the space she needs to be a large dog and a required move is eliminating the possibility of property and space for her. Yuki is such a sweet and special dog. She will be the perfect fit for the right person or family. If you are interested in more information please feel free to reach out at any time.

Story
Introducing Madison, the enchanting beauty who’s ready to weave her way into your heart and your home!  Born in December 2021, Madison’s striking appearance is impossible to ignore—with her glossy coat and expressive eyes, she’s the kind of girl who turns heads at the dog park.  But it’s not just her looks that make her special; it’s her playful spirit and love for life that truly set her apart. Playtime with Madison is like a burst of confetti! She’ll happily chase after her foster siblings, and when her foster momma joins in, it’s a symphony of tail wags and giggles. But watch out—she’s a master of stealth, loving nothing more than to quietly sneak up on her unsuspecting playmates so she can get ‘em!  When she’s not practicing her undercover ninja skills, Madison is the epitome of chill. She’s the dog you want by your side during Netflix marathons or lazy Sunday afternoons. Madison craves snuggles and will nuzzle into your lap, eyes shining with trust and affection. And when you scratch behind her ears and give her a belly rub? Pure bliss. Madison’s culinary preferences are delightfully diverse. She’ll happily munch on any treat you offer, but her true weakness? Cheese! Yes, this girl knows how to savor the finer things in life. Speaking of the finer things, Madison loves her crate and considers it her sanctuary, a cozy nook where she snuggles up with her favorite toys and dreams of sunny days and cheese-filled picnics.  Socially, Madison is a gem. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and just needs a gentle hello to make new friends. And puppies? Well, they’re her weakness—she adores their wiggly antics and sweet puppy breath. As for cats, Madison remains nonchalant. They’re a bit mysterious, like creatures from another dimension, but she’s not bothered. She’d rather focus on her walks, where she struts her stuff with grace and curiosity. Car rides? Well, if there’s ice cream involved, count her in! According to her foster momma, Madison is one of the sweetest girls she's ever known—a true lovebug who adores people and showers affection on everyone she meets.  So, if you’re ready for a dash of sweetness, a sprinkle of fun mischief, and a whole lot of love, Madison is waiting for you! This sweet girl deserves nothing but the best, including a forever home where treats flow like water, cuddles are unlimited, and cheese is the secret ingredient to happiness. Story
Meet Rocky, the care-free young pup reminiscent of a mini polar bear! This stout Great Pyrenees may be compact in size, but he more than makes up for it with his larger-than-life personality. Born in September 2022, Rocky is a happy-go-lucky fellow who’s equally content cuddling up next to you or racing around the yard with another dog. Rocky's moderate energy level means you'll be treated to his daily zoomies—sometimes even twice a day—before he flops down on the cool tile for a well-deserved nap. Rocky’s not one to shy away from affection and will gladly plop his round rump in your lap, despite his size. Inside or outside, Rocky is just plain happy to be there, and if you catch him doing something he maybe shouldn't, he'll flash you a grin that makes it absolutely impossible to stay mad at him! True to his Pyr roots, Rocky does have a bit of a stubborn streak, so he’ll thrive best in a home with a Pyr-savvy owner who can gently finesse him into following commands. Rocky is friendly with most dogs and loves to play, although older dogs might find him a tad too exuberant. As for cats? They’re a definite no-go for this lad! Rocky is quick to learn when you’ve got his favorite snack in hand, and he’s already mastered the crate, making him a fantastic housemate. He’ll happily alert you to anything suspicious in the yard (like shifty-looking leaves or suspicious squirrels) with a moderate bark, but nothing that would make you need earplugs. Rocky is looking for a loving family who will appreciate his jovial nature and provide him with the guidance and care he needs to thrive. He would do best in a home with younger adults or a Pyr-experienced middle-aged family with older kids. If you're ready to welcome this happy fellow with a smile that’s pure magic into your home, Rocky could be the perfect match for you!
