Story
Blue Flint Animal Hospital described Bijou as an All American dog, a Heinz 57 combination of breeds, but we think she has some Great Pyrenees in her.  The vet esimated year of birth is 2021. She is shy and would most appreciate a calm environment.  She will need an owner who is patient with her as she learns to trust.  She's very sweet and loves affection. ~~ Adoption donation $300 . Story
Paisley is an  All American dog, a Heinz 57 pup, but there might be some Great Pyrenees in there.  Her vet estimated year of birth is 2021. She's shy and would probably appreciate a calm home, at least until she feels more at home.  She would need patience at the beginning, and lots of love to help her feel more confident in her new home.  Then she'll probably be eager to run and play with her new family. ~~ Adoption donation $300 . All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and spayed. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Story
Milana is a beautiful 6-year-old Great Pyrenees mix. Prior to coming to Ruff Love, she was primarily an outdoor dog and the neighbor's children threw sticks and stones at her, so her owner took her to the animal shelter.  The shelter contacted Ruff Love and she came to us.  She is incredibly sweet and gentle.  Despite her difficult past, she is nothing but loving and sweet.  She would make a great dog for any family.  She deserves a family that is as wonderful as she is. Story
Huck is a sweet, sweet boy! His vet estimated year of birth is 2021. He had been adopted and his owner had problems, so Huck came back to the rescue emaciated and matted.  He has now gained weight and his mats had to be shaved, but his beautiful fur is growing back.  He loves people.  He seems to be good with other dogs.  Don't know about cats.  He really loves people and is very engaging with the people around him.  As you can imagine, we will be especially careful with whoever adopts him next time.  We know he deserves a forever home.  We just need to find a human who deserves him. ~Adoption donation $300 . All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and neutered. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Story
URGENT HOME NEEDED for this nice, happy 3 y.o. Pup he is 1/2 Great Pyrenees and 1/2 Husky, and still a puppy at heart. He is a GREAT dog with children (raised with my 3 y.o. Grandson) and house trained. Kovu knows basic commands (sit - shake - heel) but could use some more regimented training. He is house trained, and crate trained. He is up to date on his shots (records provided) chipped, but not yet neutered. He was my sons dog until recently, when my son got out of the Army and went to college he abandoned him with me. I am 63, partially handicapped, and cannot take care of him, physically. He is a really good dog - but I cannot handle him. He is good with other dogs, but my cat and he do not get along. It is URGENT that I find a good home for him, as all the local shelters within a 50-mile radius are full, and want to put him down. PLEASE consider giving him a loving home. * I will gladly provide the fee to have him neutered, upon his successful adoption.

Story
Meet Cupid who comes to us from the Rowan County Animal Shelter. Have you ever seen such a lovable face? Cupid is a 4-year-old, 83 lb., Great Pyrenees / Lab mix with the absolute best personality. This big guy is truly a gentle giant who definitely loves the easy life. While Cupid loves to play and would thrive best in a home with a fenced in yard, he is just as content to lay around the house and nap during the day. He is a very low-key dog who is oh-so-loving and wonderful. Cupid is housetrained, neutered, microchipped, gets along with everyone he meets, whether it be kids, adults, or other dogs, and loves attention. He was hit by a car earlier in life and as a result has a slight head tilt and can be goofy sometimes...but that makes him so much more lovable! He can't wait to meet his new family. If you are interested in meeting this sweet boy, please reach out to us for an adoption application.
