Story
Bumble came from an animal control agency where his life was in extreme danger. He had been picked up as a stray. He is a good dog who loves to lay around the house. Bumble is 100% a house dog who walks well on a leash though will pull some if sees something he is interested in, he loves going to see people at Lowe's Home Improvement Store. Bumble loves to lay on the couch, sleeps well in the house all night but Bumble can open doors so needs secure locks, he also would need a fenced in yard, as well as to meet any other dogs in the household prior to adoption. He is a huge fluff ball at 128 lbs who does enjoy being brushed. The animal control agency said he is 2 to 3 years old. If you are looking for a dog who will lay beside you while you work from home Bumble is a great choice. He is vetted, neutered, and on slow kill heart worm treatment. Won't you give Bumble a chance at a great life with a home of his own? From Foster: -no barking -no digging -no resource guarding -no growling or aggression -loves people -gentle mouth when taking treats -healthy coat and likes being brushed -can hike and play (in bursts) but also likes to chill and sleep -rides well in a car -curious to explore and not afraid of new situations -goes to the door when he wants out (no accidents!) -total house dog

Meet Forrest!! When you meet this gentle giant you will immediately fall in love!  Forrest is loving, calm, and sweet! He loves to lounge around with his people and is pretty laid back. He does have a very playful side also! He really loves to be outside and would enjoy a fenced yard with space to roam. He's great with other dogs of all sizes. Forrest is house trained and has no need for a crate. He enjoys sleeping right by you on the floor. This awesome guy will make such a wonderful companion! He can't wait to find his forever home! Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications.   We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. Story
I got Sparky as a birthday gift back in April of 2022 when he was about 4 months old. He is about 3 years old, looking for a very loving family, who has some type of land so he can run around. Also a good size home so he has plenty of space to roam and play. People who have the time and energy to give him attention and the exercise he needs would be ideal. Also someone who is patient and willing to work on house training. He is very protective, gentle, and energetic. He does bark when he sees someone he doesn’t know but will never bite. If I could keep him I would but due to unforeseen circumstances, we are moving and I can’t keep him since he is a very large dog:( hopping whoever keeps him is willing to let me visit often.

Story
Hi, I'm Timmy! Everyone thinks that I am a little over a year old, and likely a Great Pyrenees mix. I'm already completely house-trained (big win!). I get along great with dogs, cats, and even chickens (we're still working on that, but we're making great progress). I absolutely *love* playing with my two foster siblings-for now they are my best friends! To be fully transparent, I am not too fond of the crate, but am learning. I've been in a few different homes so I'm a bit unsure of myself and have learned about stairs and getting in the car. Once in the car, I'm the *best* riding buddy you can imagine. My wish list includes a canine sibling and a fenced-in yard because I LOVE it outside, and I do like to roam. All to say, if you're looking for a sweet, playful, and affectionate pup, come meet me this Saturday at AARF. I'd love to show off what a good boy I am becoming. Come meet our adoptable dogs on Saturdays from 11am to 1pm in the backyard at AARF's new location- 302 Thurston St, W-S. Go to AARFWS.org to view and apply for our AARF dogs. Information about the process is available on our website.
