Story
Junior is a Great Pyrenees mix pup with a huge heart. You can always tell he’s close by because you hear his wagging tail hitting different things. He’s around 3 months old and LOVES to eat and nap. Junior went through an accident recently when he followed me into our horse pasture and spooked a horse. The horse trampled him and broke his jaw and paw. Junior underwent surgery after that. The vet said he may have a limp when he grows up. Junior was a real champ during the surgery and continued to smile and wag his tail. He is healing very well and is on track to make a full recovery. Junior is looking for his forever family- ideally a family with a large backyard and another pet to keep him company. He will stay with a foster parent until he is fully healed and then he’ll be ready to go to his forever home.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi, I'm Lane. I am a three year old girl who has enough energy to power the entire state of NC. I've been at my foster mom's since I was 11 weeks old. I'm really good in my crate during the day while foster mom is at work. I sleep in my crate at night as well. I also express my opinion when I'm crated and something else is happening in the house. I have strong FOMO! I may not look it, but my foster mom.had my DNA tested and I am Great Pyrenees, along with some staffie and some pittie and cattle dog. These long legs like to run lots of zoomies around the yard. They also help me jump like a kangaroo. A high fence may be necessary to contain my excitement. I would do best in an active household, with no small kids and no small animals. I do have a strong herding instinct. My foster mom had a cat that I really like to put in my mouth. I don't think the cat appreciated it very much. But I find it a lot of fun. I don't have to be the only dog in the household, but the other dog should probably be my size or a little larger and most likely a male dog. I seem to get along best with them. No girl drama! I can also be very protective of my stuff - food and toys especially. I don't like sharing them with other dogs. I am also the BEST guard dog - maybe a little too good. I want to alert you that you just let a stranger in the house and I have to go into protector mode. I am still learning that not everyone is trying to sell us solar panels and I don't need to be so mean sounding to foster mom's guests. If you are a dog savvy family that is willing to work with training and help me become the best dog ever, please put in an application. I would love to find my forever home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 2:18 pm

Jacqueline, was born July 28th along with 5 other siblings, which are also available for rehoming if interested. Her mother is a full-blooded American Blue nose Pitbull terrier and her father is a full-blooded Great Pyrenees that is big enough to climb over the gate and decided he wanted to introduce himself to Jacqueline's mother. She's very playful, she's crate trained, she's very expressive, she loves to snuggle. She's pretty good about baths. She's good with other dogs, cats and kids. She's just a great lovable puppy!
