Story
Meet Cupid, who comes to us from the Rowan County Animal Shelter. Cupid is an 83 lb., Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix and approximately 8 years old. He was in an accident and was hurting pretty badly, when a kind stranger found him in a ditch and got out of his truck and took Cupid to the shelter. He is recovered now and is doing great. Cupid is so loving and goofy and even a little clumsy, which makes him that much more adorable. This boy wants so much to be loved and is very smart. Cupid is housetrained and does require a fenced in yard. He is neutered, up to date on all of his vaccinations, and is microchipped. He shows zero aggression to people, kids, other dogs, and is nothing but a gentle giant. He would be a wonderful addition to your family. URGENT HOME NEEDED for this nice, happy 3 y.o. Pup he is 1/2 Great Pyrenees and 1/2 Husky, and still a puppy at heart. He is a GREAT dog with children (raised with my 3 y.o. Grandson) and house trained. Kovu knows basic commands (sit - shake - heel) but could use some more regimented training. He is house trained, and crate trained. He is up to date on his shots (records provided) chipped, but not yet neutered. He was my sons dog until recently, when my son got out of the Army and went to college he abandoned him with me. I am 63, partially handicapped, and cannot take care of him, physically. He is a really good dog - but I cannot handle him. He is good with other dogs, but my cat and he do not get along. It is URGENT that I find a good home for him, as all the local shelters within a 50-mile radius are full, and want to put him down. PLEASE consider giving him a loving home. * I will gladly provide the fee to have him neutered, upon his successful adoption.

Coop is an 8 month old Great Pyrenees / Black Lab puppy. He is house broken & crate trained and is extremely intelligent & loving. Unfortunately, he needs a space that he can run & have a job. We also have an infant granddaughter who's parents do not feel quite safe when the dog is out of his kennel. We are happy to answer any questions so please ask away. Adoption fees covers his recent vaccination with Spectra 5, Spectra 9, rabies shot, large kennel, bowls, toys & collar.
