Story
Meet Albania Joy - affectionately known as Bear (a.k.a. your personal 70-lb security system with fur) Bear looks like the approachable golden boy of the dog park, but don’t be fooled — he’s running a strictly members-only club. Bear is a guardian breed, which means he takes his job very seriously. Strangers? Suspicious. Random visitors? Hard pass. Door-to-door salespeople? Absolutely not. He is significantly more effective than a “No Soliciting” sign and much fluffier than a security camera. But here’s the twist: once Bear decides you’re one of his people, he becomes a completely different dog. Suddenly this intimidating house protector turns into a goof, belly-rub addict, toy enthusiast, and giant cuddle bug who thinks 70 pounds is an appropriate lap size. Bear’s personality highlights include: ● Professional house security guard ● Belly rub connoisseur ● Suspicious of strangers but a total mush with his people ● Very smart and ready to learn Important note from Bear’s HR department: Crates are a hard no. Bear is claustrophobic and will absolutely not be participating in any “tiny room with bars” activities. He prefers free-roaming or being contained in a room like the respected security professional he is. A fenced yard to patrol is just a part of the job. Because Bear takes his guardian duties seriously, he’s looking for a low-traffic, adults-only home (teenagers okay) that understands guardian breeds. Think “peaceful home with a loyal protector,” not “open house with a revolving door of visitors.” In summary: Bear is not here to be everybody’s friend. He’s here to be your fiercely loyal, toy-loving, belly-rub-demanding best friend… and your extremely effective home security system.

Story
Meet Honey! - A 3-month-old Great Pyrenees and coonhound mixed with sunshine, wanting to bring light to your life! Honey is a happy-go-lucky girl who embodies sunshine. She is just happy to be on planet Earth every day. She doesn’t care who she’s with or where she is or what she’s doing. Her happiness is infectious, and her head is up in the clouds. She can be a bit clumsy, and when she falls, she tends to look around, wondering what happened. No grey clouds are in the sky when she’s around. This large litter of 9 puppies was brought to a rescue as their mom had gotten sick and was unable to nurse her puppies. The puppies were only a couple of days old, and not every rescue is equipped to care for neonates. BTBB exists for this very reason, and that day we were able to save 9 beautiful lives that are growing fast and ready to live their lives with their forever family. We expect these pups to be in the large dog category (at least 50 lbs). Honey is a very sweet girl who wants to please. She is crate trained and 95% potty trained. She is working on basic obedience and knows “sit”, “drop it”, “leave it”, “off”, and is learning “stay”. She has been working super hard on containing her excitement when walking on a leash, but she is still a puppy and jumps sometimes. She loves to play with other dogs and give all the people kisses, especially the kids. She greets everyone with equal excitement. She has recently been fostered on a farm and is getting to meet various farm animals, and is slowly being introduced to cats. Honey would do great in any home, as long as they are looking for sunshine in the shape of a dog. She wants an adventurous family that wants to have as much fun as she does. She is a true hound dog at heart and wants to be outside and soak in the sun with you! Apply now by clicking on the application or visit www.blazintrailsbottlebabies.org/adopt”

Story
Meet Harriet! - A 3-month-old Great Pyrenees and Coonhound mix that is always on the hunt for fun! Harriet is a curious busybody. She wants to be where you are and wants to know what you’re doing. If you’re not doing something, then she will be curled up right next to you. She loves to nap, but loves to play with her people and other dogs more. She loves to search the environment around her for something fun to be a part of. Harriet is still young, but eager to please her people. She is getting very consistent with potty-training and loves to be in her crate and sleep through the night or even just for a nap when everyone is home. She enjoys playing outside with other energetic dogs and kids. Harriet is making strides in her leash walking and obedience training. She does great with all dogs; her puppy energy might be a bit much for older, laid-back ones, but she’s learning to meet them at their level as well. Her socialization is going well, and she’s even been introduced to cats with success. Harriet might be made of sugar; she’s so sweet. She wants to share that unconditional love with her forever family. This little ball of fluff wants to curl up on your couch or in front of the fireplace. She hopes you are looking for a pup that is ready to explore and play, as that is what she loves most. She can’t wait to bring fun and laughter into your home! Story
Meet Speed! He was brought home from a local breeder as a young puppy and has grown into a sweet, loyal companion. He’s 2 years old with a playful spirit and lots of love to give. He needs a calm, patient home where he can feel safe and build trust at his own pace. He can be anxious around new people and other dogs, so he’ll do best with an owner who understands this and is willing to continue working on his confidence with gentle training and positive reinforcement. He’s affectionate, intelligent, sensitive, and devoted. Once he feels comfortable, his personality really shines—he’s playful, loving, and enjoys being close to his people. With time, patience, and the right environment, he’ll form a deep bond and be an incredibly loyal companion.
