Story
Hi, I'm Nora. When I first came to HSC, I was extremely nervous around people and loud noises. I am still quite timid but have started to bond with my foster family. Leashes are still scary for me so I would do best in a home with a fenced yard. I absolutely love other dogs and am required to go to a home with at least one other pup in the house. Due to my skittishness in new environments and with loud noises I will likely prefer a home without children. If you are interested in meeting me, please reach out to my foster parent at kkcthompson@aol.com to set up a meet and greet!

Story
Hi, I'm Mantu!Hey there, future best friend! I'm Mantu, a 6-month-old bundle of joy with a big heart and even bigger love for fetch! If you throw it, I'll chase it-and probably bring it back (most of the time). When I'm not zooming around with a ball, I'm all about soaking up pets and snuggling close for those ear scratches I can't get enough of.I'm ready to fill your days with fun, tail wags, and endless cuddles. So, what do you say? Come meet me, throw a ball, and let's see if we're a match made in puppy paradise! P.S I have lived with a cat and another dog in my old home!

Story
Odin is a truly handsome, young, 88 pound, Great Pyr boy that was born 1/2/23 and is looking for a family to love and chill with.  This big boy is fully grown and is the so very easy going and good natured.  He was raised with his brother Thor on a country property owned by a senior lady who has come to realize that both the brothers need homes where they can be an inside dog and part of the family.  She cannot provide that and so is now willing to let each one go to separate families that might have children (he loves children) and to be a part of maybe even living with other dogs or cats.  He is good with everyone he meets and all creatures.  This boy is not housebroken as he has never been inside for any length of time to learn the rules and the signals for potty breaks.  He is a loving and easy dog to have around and we want him to become a part of a family life that offers him a big dog bed and lots of love and guidance.  He is good with meeting new people and doesn’t bark excessively at all.  He will bark if he is bored outside in a pen.  He plays nicely and is fun and happy.  If you are interested in this one year old handsome boy please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com and let us know where you live:  city and state and let’s start a conversation about him possibly becoming a part of a special family lifestyle.   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.           PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 31, 2024, 2:39 pm

Story
Bumble came from an animal control agency where his life was in extreme danger. He had been picked up as a stray. Bumble had been in a foster for 3 weeks before coming to the rescue. The foster said he is the perfect dog, good with kids, adults, other dogs, even cats who loves to lay around the house. Bumble is 100% a house dog who walks well on a leash though will pull some if sees something he is interested in. Bumble has never tried to get on furniture either. He is a huge fluff ball at 128 lbs who does enjoy being brushed. The animal control agency said he is 2 to 3 years old. If you are looking for a dog who will lay beside you while you work from home or a low-key dog to enjoy, or a dog to take for walks, or for your family, Bumble is a great choice. Bumble is currently looking for a local foster for a short time until he can get neutered, and recover which would be 1 week. Won't you give Bumble a chance at a great life with a home of his own? From Foster: -no barking -no digging -no resource guarding -no growling or aggression -loves other dogs and people, he even tolerates bad behaving dogs -gentle mount when taking treats -healthy coat and likes being brushed -can hike and play (in bursts) but also likes to chill and sleep -rides well in a car -curious to explore and not afraid of new situations -goes to the door when he wants out (no accidents!) -If you are looking for a guard dog, he is not one -total house dog
