Story
Breezy is a 4yo pure bred Akbash. She spent the first 4 years of her life on a sheep farm living outside. She is now in the process of learning how to become an inside dog and a pet. She is quiet, sweet, calm and does enjoy being outside however she has learned to enjoy the comforts of sleeping on a couch or bed. She gets along with other dogs and is currently in a home with 3 other dogs. She is learning to play with her canine brother and sisters, she gives a low bark and bows down to initiate play. She does zoomies around the yard and loves to smell the fresh cold air. She is spayed and UTD on her vaccinations. She is looking for a home with a fenced in yard that will provide her the patience while she navigates the new life of being a family pet. She has a lot of love to give. Please fill out an application if interested in meeting Breezy.

Story
We have more dogs being turned into rescue. We will keep our site update as they come in, are vetted and determined ready to be adopted. If you have never had a Pyr Puppy you need to read this : http://www.nepyresq.org/page/i-want-a-great-pyrenees-puppy-50.html The application process is to go to our website and fill out an adoption application form. http://www.nepyresq.org/page/adoption-process-47.html We do not accept INVISIBLE fencing for the following reasons: 1) Most Pyrs ignore the pain and go through it. 2) This is a guardian breed and this fencing does not keep people or other animals out of your yard. The Pyr could take them as a threat or be attacked. WE do not allow them to be tied out. It makes them aggressive. If you do not have a fenced yard then a fenced area would be acceptable. Most of these dogs are not a dog park breed. They bark a lot and can bother your neighbors.

Story
Schatzi – DOB 5/4/2014 spayed female. She was adopted from us in 2017. Her owner is ill and could no longer care for her. She is good with other dogs. She is a shy girl. She did well at grooming even though it took 5 washing to get her clean and then groomed out. The first photo is of her back in 2017. The second before she was groomed and the other of her now in her foster home. She would do well in a home with another dog or being spoiled as an only senior dog . Good with cats too. Please go to our website if you are interested in one of our dogs. It explains the process and has an application you can fill out there. . If it goes through you will get an email from nepyresq@gmail.com with the next steps of the process. http://www.nepyresq.org/page/adoption-process-guidelines-48.html
