Story
Meet Juneau, an 8-month-old Great Pyrenees mix with a gentle and laid-back personality! This calm, quiet girl is as easy-going as they come and loves nothing more than cuddling up with her favorite humans. Juneau is both potty trained and crate trained, making her a great addition to any home. She’s wonderful with kids, always patient and sweet, and while she can be a bit shy around other dogs, she warms up with time. Her demeanor suggests she’d be just fine with cats, though she hasn't been tested yet. If you're looking for a calm, cuddly companion, Juneau is the perfect fit! Story
Meet Edith: The Sweet Husky Mix Puppy! Edith is an adorable female husky mix puppy with a heart full of love and a spirit that’s both vibrant and curious. She’s crate trained and has quickly adapted to her new home, having only had one accident since arriving—an impressive feat for a young pup! This little sweetheart is a true toy lover and enjoys chewing on bones, making playtime one of her favorite activities. Edith is dog-friendly and has shown she’s great with kids, making her an excellent addition to any family. She’s also met a cat—her initial barking was more out of confusion than anything else, and with time, we believe she’d adjust well to feline companions. Despite her puppy energy, Edith has a surprisingly chill demeanor. While she loves to play, she also enjoys lounging around the house and soaking up the comfort of her surroundings. Unlike many husky mixes, she isn’t overly vocal; she may bark a bit at night in her kennel but has shown no signs of excessive howling or barking. Once she warms up, Edith becomes extremely cuddly and affectionate. She’s still learning to embrace love, but she adores belly rubs and ear scratches, making her moments of affection all the more special. One quirky aspect of her personality is her apprehension around cars; she tends to avoid getting in but is perfectly fine once she’s settled inside. Edith is affectionate, observant, silly, and curious, often following her foster family’s dogs around like a little shadow. She would thrive in a home with another dog who can help guide her as she continues to learn and grow. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving puppy to brighten your life, Edith is ready to bring joy and cuddles into your home! Adopt Edith at: https://tailsofhopewi.org/adoptable-animals-2

Story
🐾 Meet Zorro! 🐾 Hi there! I’m Zorro, a super sweet 5-month-old pup who’s all about good vibes, belly rubs, and hanging out with my favorite humans. A Little About Me: 🐶 Easygoing & Chill: My foster mom says out of 40+ dogs she’s cared for, I’m one of the most relaxed and easygoing pups she’s had. 🐾 Dog-Friendly: I play great with other dogs and enjoy their company. 🐱 Learning About Cats: I’m curious about them and getting better every day—I just need to remember they don’t always want to play! ❤️ People are My Favorite: I love spending time with my humans—whether we’re playing or just chilling out together. I’m neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and on a regular flea/tick and deworming schedule. While my breed mix my brother looked like a Great Pyrenees mix so maybe I am too? It is anyone’s guess, one thing’s for sure: I’m 100% lovable (and we don't think I'll be as big as a GP)! Special Holiday Adoption Fee! 🎉 Thanks to a generous donor, I’m part of the Home for the Holidays campaign, and my adoption fee has been reduced to $250! Let’s Meet! 🏡 If you think I could be the perfect pup for you, fill out an application at Forever Fido Puppy Rescue, and a volunteer will get in touch. 📍 Forever Fido Puppy Rescue is located near Rochester, MN. Meet & Greets are required in person—we don’t ship dogs. I can’t wait to meet my forever family and share all the love I have to give. Could that be you? Let’s find out! 🐾❤️

Story
Marco is a gorgeous, young Great Pyrenees mix. We are unsure of his history, other than he had a rough start in life and was bounced around from shelter to foster home in Kansas before he made the journey to colder weather in Minnesota! He happily spends time outside in the snow and cold weather. He would love a home with some outdoor space to run. Marco fearful of men and looking for a home without men. Marco is crate trained and potty trained. He sleeps good in his crate at night. He loves a good bone or antler to chew on. In his current foster home he lives with a dog, cat and small children. He hasn’t warmed up to playing with his dog brother yet, but is fine coexisting with everyone besides men. He walks pretty well on a leash, but could benefit from ongoing training as he can be a strong boy! Marco would love to have a home with a patient female human who will give him time to open up and come out of his shell. He will be a wonderfully loyal dog! Adoption fee is $300+ tax; apply at www.campcompanion.org

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Laa Laa (we call her Grace) is a delightful puppy.  She is 33# of energy but will grow to be a BIG dog.  Her mix of Great Pyrenes and Mastiff will take care of that.  Grace’s coat is thick and dense like a pyrenes but has a light buff color from the mastiff.   There are a couple of white tips on her toes. Back to the delightful puppy part.  Grace loves to play with anything that crinkles or crackles.  That means water bottles, newspapers and paper grocery bags are some of her favorite toys.  She will also play with squeaky puppy toys (those adult teeth are starting to come in).  Speaking of puppy toys because of her age things like stuffed animals, slippers and shoes are also big hits on her chew list.   Her playmate here is our great Dane.  These two will run up and down the hall, play keep away, tug of war and steal toys from each other.  If things get too rowdy a squirt from the spray bottle lowers the activity. Grace lives with 3 large adult resident dogs.  These dogs are helping her learn how to be a dog.  She goes outside with them for potty breaks.  She is now about 70% housetrained.  Grace does not go to the door to request to go outside, so accidents do happen.  With a set regular schedule she can be close to 100%. We kennel Grace in a puppy pen when we are not at home, with a small treat she walks right in.  At night she sleeps on a dog bed in our bedroom. All of our dogs are allowed on the couch, Grace is no exception.  After a hard day of running around she loves to snuggle on the couch and watch TV. Does Grace sound like a puppy you would like to add to your home?  Complete an application and we will connect with you to tell you more about her.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Please go to our website www.wagsmn.org and fill out an Adoption Application.  Once the application is processed, a Wags representative will contact you, answer any questions you may have, and set up a time/location for a meet and greet!  A home visit is required prior to adoption.  Thank you for choosing to adopt! Breed and temperament determination:  Wags & Whiskers Animal Rescue attempts to determine breed and temperament using a combination of looks, information provided to us at intake, and our experience with the animal while in our Rescue.  We do not guarantee this determination.
