Snow is a pretty typical name for a white dog.... but for me it is like a sweet cool breeze! Because I HAVE a NAME and LOVE to go with it!! You see, I was living in a home that didn't want me up until I arrived at the rescue several weeks ago. So, I didn't get a nice name, or a bed or love and hardly any food :( I am still shy at first but my life has changed so so much that I can't help but love everyone now :) I especially love other dogs and would be best in a home with another loving, confident dog. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Laa Laa (we call her Grace) is a delightful puppy. She is 33# of energy but will grow to be a BIG dog. Her mix of Great Pyrenes and Mastiff will take care of that. Grace’s coat is thick and dense like a pyrenes but has a light buff color from the mastiff. There are a couple of white tips on her toes. Back to the delightful puppy part. Grace loves to play with anything that crinkles or crackles. That means water bottles, newspapers and paper grocery bags are some of her favorite toys. She will also play with squeaky puppy toys (those adult teeth are starting to come in). Speaking of puppy toys because of her age things like stuffed animals, slippers and shoes are also big hits on her chew list. Her playmate here is our great Dane. These two will run up and down the hall, play keep away, tug of war and steal toys from each other. If things get too rowdy a squirt from the spray bottle lowers the activity. Grace lives with 3 large adult resident dogs. These dogs are helping her learn how to be a dog. She goes outside with them for potty breaks. She is now about 70% housetrained. Grace does not go to the door to request to go outside, so accidents do happen. With a set regular schedule she can be close to 100%. We kennel Grace in a puppy pen when we are not at home, with a small treat she walks right in. At night she sleeps on a dog bed in our bedroom. All of our dogs are allowed on the couch, Grace is no exception. After a hard day of running around she loves to snuggle on the couch and watch TV. Welcome Athena to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2-year Great Pyrenees. She weighs about 90 pounds. She has a beautiful coat and the typical extra back toes commonly found in this breed. This is a guardian breed dog. They naturally will protect their flock or family. This breed will do best in a fully fenced yard as they will roam away if there is no fence. She is good with other dogs and will need some more leash work. She would be great with someone that knows the breed and loves it. She should have the natural tendencies of this breed. She had puppies and we adopted them out. We also adopted out the larger male that was found with her as a stray. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccines, healthy, spayed and ready for her forever home. Welcome Anna to CCPAL Rescue. Anna is a 3-year old Great Pyrenees. She is about 65 pounds and we saved from a high kill Animal Control here in Texas. She was pregnant so CCPAL took her in. She was too far along and we didn’t want to see her or her puppies euthanized. She had 9 puppies. They are about weaned so she will begin to dry up and be ready for her forever home. She does not have the extra dew claw on her back feet but some of her puppies do have it. She is very mellow and doesn’t jump up. She is friendly and laid back to strangers. She would be great with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She could go with a family that is low to moderately active as she is very chill. She is good on a leash and in a car. She is good in a crate and has met lots of dogs smaller than herself and has done great with all of them. She wasn’t at all reactive on leash and is an overall wonderful dog. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We would love her to go more north because the temperatures are less warm and she has a big beautiful coat. She will need brushing to keep her beautiful coat. We would love someone that has owned a guardian breed. This is an amazing breed and will do better in a fence over underground fencing. She is healthy, vaccinated and will be spayed soon and ready for her forever home. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. She has the Great Pyrenees toes on her back feet. She is shorter than some of the other puppies and she is big and stocky. She has a beautiful white coat and the volunteers here at the rescue have her bathed and brushed for her photo shoot. She weighs about 14 pounds already. She gets along well with her siblings. She is one of 9 puppies. She has a wonderful mother and this entire litter is sweet and gentle. She would be great for someone wanting to raise a large breed dog. She is a guardian breed and will be great with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She will need a fence over underground fencing. This is typical of this breed. She is good in a crate and good in a car. She is decent at baths and has already had a toenail clipping. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful trasporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast.
