What an adorable little firecracker !! FULL of personality and afraid of nothing! She is confident, curious, LOVES the water and her baby pool. Often times she's the only one willing to get in. LAMAREY lives to be with other dogs and especially adores her humans. She is literally always happy! You cannot rain on her parade! She is kennel trained and almost house trained! She is a joy to have as part of our foster family. LAMAREY is with me in my home in Memphis, Tn. Once adopted , she will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to her new forever family. Once an application has been submitted and approved , I would be happy to speak with you and tell you all of the wonderful things about her ! You will find our volunteer team to be very responsive so please refrain from submitting an application until you are ready to welcome a new forever family member. Transport runs each weekend, leaving Memphis Tennessee Friday morning around 6 AM at which time they start a group chat with the two drivers and all the adopters who have a A Pet on board. Transport is an additional $185.

Story
Meet Nala! Age: Adult Weight: 85lbs Breed: Great Dane Good with: Dogs, cats and older kids House trained: Yes Crate trained: Not required Special needs: Hypertrophic Osteo Dystrophy, needs a home without stairs Nala is a sweet and loving pup who has been through some difficult physical challenges and is looking for a patient, compassionate forever home. Nala was confiscated by Animal Control due to neglect. She was born with Hypertrophic Osteo Dystrophy that went untreated. This rare condition affects bone growth in affected puppies that require steroids to treat painful flare ups and in Nala caused some deformation in her limbs and joints. Despite this condition, Nala is an incredibly gentle and loving dog. She has yet to meet a stranger and loves all the dogs and people she has met. Because of her size, it is recommended that she live with older children. She is housebroken and does not require a crate when left alone. Because of her condition, a home without stairs would be best for her. Nala is looking for a cuddle buddy as she is super snuggly and a Velcro pup in her foster home. Sadly, we do not know what the future holds for Nala due to her medical concerns. She is looking for and deserves a home where she can be cherished despite the challenges she faces. Nala radiates love and affection, are you the person who can share your heart and home with a pup in need? **Nala is fostered in Brookfield Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Story
Gremlin is being fostered in NC. Howdy, I'm Gremlin, a 6 month old Great Dane, but don't worry, you CAN get me wet and I won't turn into Spike! I actually LOVE playing in water. My foster Mommy says I am a gentle giant, but I am still a baby and very playful. I need to learn my commands by touch because I cannot see or hear. And, well, I can be a little slower and I need repetitiveness with my training so I can be a very good boy. My foster Mommy is working with me on my manners, but I can be a bit slow because I have a great nose for food wherever it is heehee. It takes me a little time to navigate a new area, but I will get it, just be patient with me. Right now, I have a Cane Corso foster sister to play with and I love playing tug and wrestle with her. I am already potty and crate trained! When I wake in the morning, I will bark to let you know I has to go outside to do my business. I also walk well on a leash. The bestest thing I really love is to have my ears rubbed and to cuddle with humans. I don't know why they feel squished, after all, I'm the same size as a chihuahua aren't I LOL I just want my very own family to love me and guide me along my journey in this life. And, of course, to cuddle with furever. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Meet Zeus, the cutest (and maybe biggest) cuddle buddy you'll ever encounter! When Zeus came to us a month ago he weighed only 93lbs and in 1 month he has filled out and gained 19.2lbs!!! We don't know about you but we can't stop looking at this handsome boy Zeus is a 2yo Great Dane/mastiff, 112lb, male! This lovable giant loves to sneak in close for pets, making sure to put himself right under your arm or hand. Whether he's underfoot in the kitchen or snuggled up in your lap during movie time, Zeus is all about sharing hugs and kisses with his humans. Currently being fostered on a small farm with goats, chickens, ducks, and turkeys, Zeus is friendly with other dogs and cats, but he LOVES to play and chase so another dog friend who likes to do the same and wouldn't mind a big dog like Zeus to play with would be ideal! He would do best in home with a fenced in yard where he can zoom around freely! He's great on a leash with a harness and knows all the basic commands! He definitely has a lot to say and is a very talkative and opinionated guy, so he will tell you how he feels.. so apartment living would not be ideal for Zeus! His new owner should be strong enough to handle his size and strength, he tries his best to be gentle but he sometimes forgets just how big he is. Zeus would do beat him an adult only home or a home with older children (>8yo), little kids are just a little bit too exciting for Zeus and because of his big size it does not make him a good match with little ones. With love and patience, Zeus will thrive and bring endless joy to your life. If you're ready for a lovable, playful, talkative companion, Zeus is your guy! Zeus is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and underwent a preventative Gastropexy, so he's all ready to find his forever family! Are you interested? Story
Venus is an adorable, Great Dane mix who weighs about 109 lbs. She can be a little shy and timid at first, but once you give her a few treats, she is sweet and affectionate. She knows basic commands like `sit`, `down`, `paw`, `leave-it`, `watch` and more! She is potty-trained and crate trained. She is considered a medium energy dog, who is food motivated and very bright because she is picking up training fast! She would do best in a house without other pets. She is a sensitive girl who is working hard on her dog reactivity training during walks! She is a good dog who will stare into your eyes lovingly and give little kisses. She is also a good office companion while her foster mom works from home!
