Story
Venus is an adorable, Great Dane mix who weighs about 109 lbs. She can be a little shy and timid at first, but once you give her a few treats, she is sweet and affectionate. She knows basic commands like 'sit', 'down', 'paw', 'leave-it', 'watch' and more! She is potty-trained and crate trained. She is considered a medium energy dog, who is food motivated and very bright because she is picking up training fast! She would do best in a house without other pets. She is a sensitive girl who is working hard on her dog reactivity training during walks! She is a good dog who will stare into your eyes lovingly and give little kisses. She is also a good office companion while her foster mom works from home! Story
She is fine with animals. However, she is a bully. She is extremely people picky and does not like to be approached, she prefers to make contact. She is extremely food driven in any type of training. She will get into any food possible, if left unattended. She’s still very hyper. Overall, she’s a really good dog and just needs the love. I don’t have time to give her right now.

Story
A few years ago, this sweet girl was found dumped along the fence of our rescue! She was skin and bones and needed immediate help, so we named her MayDay. Our best guess is she around 6 or 7 years old and a Great Dane/ Staffshire terrier mix. She is very gentle, loves people, and really enjoys car rides. Mayday gets along with males, but is not very playful with other dogs. She would do best as the only fur baby in the home. Since she has been a kennel dog her whole life, MayDay is not pot trained so she will need a family who understands that. This dear girl would love a chance to live out her days in the comfort of a home with a family who will love her! If you want to give MayDay that chance, find us at https://www.tailsoftheforgottenpaws.org/ to fill out an application or on facebook (tails of the forgotten paws)

Story
Hello world, my name is Agatha! I am a 7 month old Great Dane girlie and I'm doing my best to learn how to be a dog over here in my foster home. So far, so good! I like the other dogs and I will need a dog friend in my forever home who can keep showing me how to live the good life! I think I'd probably be fine with cats, too. I like the older kids I've met and I think I'd also like little ones! I am working on my puppy training but my forever family will need to keep working with me since my foster fam says I don't have "manners" yet, whatever those are. I am happy to report that I'm doing well in my crate, and I'm working on potty training but I need frequent trips outside. I'm getting the hang of it though, I promise! Though I can be timid, once I get to know you, I am a total love bug. I am trusting of my human friends and I like to give kisses and cuddles. I will follow you everywhere and lay my head on you after you've had a long day. If you're looking for a lovable lanky lady, I am ready to find my future family and I'd be thrilled to meet you! My adoption fee is $800 - This includes Gastropexy Surgery when I'm of age!

Story
FAST FACTS:*2 Years Old - 120 Pound*Very Loyal, Affectionate, Smart*Low/Medium Energy*Kid Friendly*Dog Friendly - Would Love a Doggie Companion*Potty and Crate Trained*Training Required*Fenced Yard PreferredBIO:Hi there! My name is Olivea and I am an aspiring lap dog in a veeeeeery large body! But my body wasn't always this healthy 120-pound figure you see today; you see, I was unloved and severely malnourished when rescued (I only weighed about 40 pounds, can you even believe it?!) but thanks to my devoted, attentive foster momma I have gained weight and felt love for the first time in my life. Let me tell you how much I enjoy being a beloved family member: I adore people of all ages (including the toddlers I've met) and am very happy to have a doggie pal to keep me company. I would thrive in a family with kids and other dogs - I adore the comfort of family. Even though I am extra large, I make great attempts and trying to fit on your lap for snuggles, I hope you don't mind! And my tail never stops wagging when I have two- and four-legged companions to love! My foster momma jokingly calls my tail its own power source, so I might accidentally knock very tiny children or potted plants over when I am especially happy, but otherwise I have excellent household manners and am never purposefully destructive. I am already potty and crate trained, though my foster momma says she doesn't need to crate me when she leaves the house because I enjoy lounging in my bed or on the couch until she returns (this life of luxury thing is amazing!) My dream home will include a big family and another dog or two, a fenced yard so I can play with my pals and lounge in the sun. I am pretty low energy overall and do not need a lot of exercise, so an occasional walk would be fine but I am not going to be your marathon training buddy haha! I could use some extra work on my leash walking skills; I was likely previously chained up in my prior life so I am extra alert of my surroundings on walks and can be protective of the other dog in my foster home when we are strolling the neighborhood. Fetching Tails requires adopters of young dogs like me to sign us up for training classes, and I am a quick learner (especially when treats are involved - I am very food motivated!) so I think we will have a great time learning new skills together and seeing how great a family pet I can be! Will you give me the luxurious home life and special place in your heart as your beloved companion? Then hurry up and fill out an adoption application today!Love,OliveaIf you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
