Story
Meet Hank the Great Dane ARRIVING IN WI December 6th! Hank is a 2 year old male Great Dane. He has a gorgeous black and white coat and the sweetest personality! Hank is a sweet boy found himself surrendered to the shelter when his family could no longer afford to feed him. He has since seen the veterinarian and is in the process of gaining back the weight he lost. He is excited to be loved and spoiled the way he deserves to be and make the trip to WI where his belly will always be full! Hank is potty trained in Texas, however his new family should be prepared to do additional training while he learns the routine at his new home in WI as he is just adjusts to his new normal. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday December 6th, and will be available to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption on November 1st. Should he not be a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. We take payments through Zelle, Venmo, or CashApp, or we can take card numbers over the phone and process them through Square. All of these methods provide a receipt. Thank you for supporting our efforts to bring Texas dogs north to loving homes! You can read more about us at https://facebook.com/TxRescueRiders (Texas Rescue Riders). Also feel free to join our Group Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity (Texas Rescue Riders Community) where members can post directly. Story
Meet Zeus, the cutest (and maybe biggest) cuddle buddy you'll ever encounter! When Zeus came to us a month ago he weighed only 93lbs and in 1 month he has filled out and gained 19.2lbs!!! We don't know about you but we can't stop looking at this handsome boy Zeus is a 2yo Great Dane/mastiff, 112lb, male! This lovable giant loves to sneak in close for pets, making sure to put himself right under your arm or hand. Whether he's underfoot in the kitchen or snuggled up in your lap during movie time, Zeus is all about sharing hugs and kisses with his humans. Currently being fostered on a small farm with goats, chickens, ducks, and turkeys, Zeus is friendly with other dogs and cats, but he LOVES to play and chase. So another dog friend who likes to do the same and wouldn't mind a big dog like Zeus to play with would be ideal! He would do best in home with a fenced in yard where he can zoom around freely! He's great on a leash with a harness and knows all the basic commands! He definitely has a lot to say and is a very talkative and opinionated guy, so he will tell you how he feels.. so apartment living would not be ideal for Zeus! His new owner should have large breed experience and be strong enough to handle his size and strength, he tries his best to be gentle but he sometimes forgets just how big he is. Zeus would do best in an adult only home. With love and patience, Zeus will thrive and bring endless joy to your life. If you're ready for a lovable, playful, talkative companion, Zeus is your guy! Zeus is neutered, UTD on vaccines, and underwent a preventative Gastropexy, so he's all ready to find his forever family! Are you interested? Story
Meet Blue! This handsome guy is about 95 pounds at 7 months old. He's still got some growing to do. He is a sweet, happy guy who wants to be with his people as much as possible. He will thrive in a home dedicated to helping him continue his training with positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise. He would love a larger doggie sibling or weekly daycare/play dates to keep him from getting bored. He doesn't mind cats. Blue is very much still a puppy and could accidentally knock over young children and smaller dogs with his playfulness. Children over 14 years old preferred. A home with prior Great Dane experience would be ideal, but not mandatory. He is house trained and crate trained. Blue is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations. If you would like to meet this adorable guy and make him part of your family, please complete an application at https://forrescue.net/dog-application/ Blue is located in Hampton Cove, Alabama. Friends of Rescue requires a home visit and vet reference prior to all adoptions. All Friends of Rescue animals are indoor family members.

What an adorable little firecracker !! FULL of personality and afraid of nothing! She is confident, curious, LOVES the water and her baby pool. Often times she's the only one willing to get in. LAMAREY lives to be with other dogs and especially adores her humans. She is literally always happy! You cannot rain on her parade! She is kennel trained and almost house trained! She is a joy to have as part of our foster family. LAMAREY is with me in my home in Memphis, Tn. Once adopted , she will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to her new forever family. Once an application has been submitted and approved , I would be happy to speak with you and tell you all of the wonderful things about her ! You will find our volunteer team to be very responsive so please refrain from submitting an application until you are ready to welcome a new forever family member. Transport runs each weekend, leaving Memphis Tennessee Friday morning around 6 AM at which time they start a group chat with the two drivers and all the adopters who have a A Pet on board. Transport is an additional $185.

Story
Venus is an adorable, Great Dane mix who weighs about 109 lbs. She can be a little shy and timid at first, but once you give her a few treats, she is sweet and affectionate. She knows basic commands like `sit`, `down`, `paw`, `leave-it`, `watch` and more! She is potty-trained and crate trained. She is considered a medium energy dog, who is food motivated and very bright because she is picking up training fast! She would do best in a house without other pets. She is a sensitive girl who is working hard on her dog reactivity training during walks! She is a good dog who will stare into your eyes lovingly and give little kisses. She is also a good office companion while her foster mom works from home! Story
The name Nala can mean ‘gift’ and ‘beloved’, put that together and you get: “beloved gift”, which is exactly what we think about this sweet Nala pup! Nala is staying with her foster family in Medford WI right now, but she is looking forward to finding her forever home, and we think she would be a gift to one lucky family! She looks like a Dane mix who is about 30 pounds and around 5 months old. Nala is doing great at all the puppy skills like going to the bathroom outside. She’s still learning but knows how to use bells! She likes kids (her foster family only has teenagers though, so we’re not sure how she is with small children). Nala is crate trained, but if she sees anyone (especially another dog) when she’s in her crate, she tends to be on guard and will bark and growl. Despite the way she acts when in her crate, Nala gets along great with other dogs (not sure about cats yet)! Understandably, Nala is a little shy when first meeting new friends, but she warms up quickly. Then her goofy, playful and loving personality really begins to shine! Just like some humans consider themselves “dog-people,” Nala is a “people-dog”! She really loves her humans and thinks she is a lap-dog! Cuddly and affectionate, Nala is sure to be a gift to a very lucky family! Nala is up to date on all her age-appropriate shots, is microchipped and spayed. She is available for adoption for a fee of $500. If you think that Nala may be a good fit for your family and are interested in being considered to adopt her, please fill out the application in the link below. www.biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550
