Story
Meet Nala! Age: Adult Weight: 85lbs Breed: Great Dane Good with: Dogs, cats and older kids House trained: Yes Crate trained: Not required Special needs: Hypertrophic Osteo Dystrophy, needs a home without stairs Nala is a sweet and loving pup who has been through some difficult physical challenges and is looking for a patient, compassionate forever home. Nala was confiscated by Animal Control due to neglect. She was born with Hypertrophic Osteo Dystrophy that went untreated. This rare condition affects bone growth in affected puppies that require steroids to treat painful flare ups and in Nala caused some deformation in her limbs and joints. Despite this condition, Nala is an incredibly gentle and loving dog. She has yet to meet a stranger and loves all the dogs and people she has met. Because of her size, it is recommended that she live with older children. She is housebroken and does not require a crate when left alone. Because of her condition, a home without stairs would be best for her. Nala is looking for a cuddle buddy as she is super snuggly and a Velcro pup in her foster home. Sadly, we do not know what the future holds for Nala due to her medical concerns. She is looking for and deserves a home where she can be cherished despite the challenges she faces. Nala radiates love and affection, are you the person who can share your heart and home with a pup in need? **Nala is fostered in Brookfield Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Story
Say hello to Bing Bong! He’s a gentle giant who’s a bit on the shy side but has so much love to give. This sweet boy is a large breed who originally came all the way from Ohio, and he’s looking for a patient, understanding family to call his own. Bing Bong is friendly and enjoys being around people, but he’s the type who needs time to feel comfortable and confident in new situations. He’s not in a rush to jump into things, but once he’s settled in, he’ll reward you with his loyalty and affection. Whether it’s lounging beside you or quietly exploring his new home, Bing Bong takes life at his own pace—and he’s looking for someone who will respect that. Heres what his foster says: Bing Bong is loving & protective of his human pack. He enjoys following his people around the house or snuggling. The best part of his day is when you come home. He's a clever lad & is learning fairly quickly. He needs to make sure you are safe before he guards you while you sleep, but is content to sleep on his own bed in the human bedroom. He's curious and playful, but gentle. He's quick to befriend dogs and cautiously will befriend your guests after you go through an introduction routine. Outside of the home, people are interesting, but not scary. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough. Story
Venus is an adorable, Great Dane mix who weighs about 109 lbs. She can be a little shy and timid at first, but once you give her a few treats, she is sweet and affectionate. She knows basic commands like `sit`, `down`, `paw`, `leave-it`, `watch` and more! She is potty-trained and crate trained. She is considered a medium energy dog, who is food motivated and very bright because she is picking up training fast! She would do best in a house without other pets. She is a sensitive girl who is working hard on her dog reactivity training during walks! She is a good dog who will stare into your eyes lovingly and give little kisses. She is also a good office companion while her foster mom works from home! Story
In a world filled with countless furry companions, there’s one special pup who is eagerly still waiting for her Fur-Ever Family. 🥹 Hi Biggie Paws 🐾 Friends ! We’d like to reintroduce you to Nala ! At approximately 6 months old and weighing around 30 pounds, this charming dog looks like a potential Great Dane mix that will surely steal your heart❣️With her playful spirit, affectionate nature and a few quirks that make her unique …she would be the perfect addition to any loving family. Located in Medford, WI she is ready to embark on a new adventure 🧐 with the right adopter(s). Here’s everything you need to know about this delightful girl and why she deserves a loving home. 🥰Nala is not just another dog, she is a bundle of joy with a personality that shines bright. ⭐️ Affectionate and cuddly, 🤗 she LOVES to be around people and thinks she is a lap dog 🤭 despite her growing size. Her enthusiasm for life is contagious and she thrives on human interaction. While she may be a little shy ☺️ at first, her friendly nature allows her to warm up quickly to new faces. Her vocal 🎶 personality adds a delightful touch, as she expresses her excitement ❤️ when meeting new people. This sweet girl 💕 has shown that she is friendly with kiddos and other dogs, 🐕 making her an awesome canine sibling. 😊 We have not seen her around cats, 🐈 but with her sweet nature believe she would also do well with them.Although still a work in progress, Nala has a good foundation in training. She is crate trained, potty trained 🚽💩 and has learned to use bells 🔔 to communicate her needs. She is also leash trained 🦮 and enjoys her walks, making her a great companion for outdoor adventures. 🥾 While she knows how to sit, continued training after adoption will help her develop into a well-mannered adult dog. Her eagerness to learn 🤓 and please her humans will make the training process enjoyable and rewarding for both her and her new family. ❤️Nala is up to date on all of her age appropriate shots, 💉 microchipped and has already been spayed. If interested in being considered to adopt Nala, please fill out an adoption application under the link below. Nala’s adoption fee is $500.www.biggiepawsrescue.orgDATCP # 494550

COME AND MEET ME... AND TAKE ME HOME THIS WEEKEND!! SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 15TH - 10 am until 2 pm At End of the Leash in Hales Corners at 5430 S 108th St, Hales Corners 53130 Tiny is a handsome 3 month old great dane male. He weighs about 30 pounds. Tiny has a beautiful brindle coat. Tiny's rescuer describes him as a typical dane velcro dog. He is very loving and affectionate to people and wants to be right by your side. He thinks he is a lap dog. Tiny is excited to come to Wisconsin and find his forever family! Tiny enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. He is potty trained in Texas, however his new family should be prepared to do additional training while he learns the routine at his new home in WI. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Tuesday February 11th, and will be available to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should he not be a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable.
