Story
Meet Chelsea! This 8.5 month old Great Dane/Lab will stun you with her gorgeous blue eyes and her excitement to meet you! She’s incredibly smart, curious, and often a big goofy girl who loves cuddles and being with her people. She’s great in the car as a passenger, and loves being outdoors. She is fully potty trained and rings the bell to go out when she needs. Chelsea is about 55lbs, and a tall girl. She'd do best in a home where her people are around most of the time as she loves them so much, she deals with some separation anxiety when they leave. It also might help to have another furry playmate to keep her company as she loves other dogs. She’s also eager to explore the world with her mouth like most puppies; However, due to her large size, sometimes she forgets her own strength, and she will need some focused training on how to be gentle. She'd do well in a family without little ones at this time. Chelsea would do best with an experienced adopter as she's still learning.

Story
ARRIVING IN WI February 11th! Tiny is a handsome 3 month old great dane male. He weighs about 30 pounds. Tiny has a beautiful brindle coat. Tiny's rescuer describes him as a typical dane velcro dog. He is very loving and affectionate to people and wants to be right by your side. He thinks he is a lap dog. Tiny is excited to come to Wisconsin and find his forever family! Tiny enjoys people of all ages and gets along well with other dogs. He is potty trained in Texas, however his new family should be prepared to do additional training while he learns the routine at his new home in WI. He is up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition. He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Tuesday February 11th, and will be available to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below. His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption. Should he not be a good fit for your family upon meeting, the deposit is refundable. If you’re not already familiar with our group, please feel free to visit our Group Page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/TxRescueRidersCommunity If you are serious about this pup, please contact us at DogTrailRides@gmail.com. Story
Meet Shadow💙he is a 8 month old Great Dane pup! Currently he weighs around 60#. He is the bestest boy, just a big ol goofy puppy. Loves all the dogs at his foster home, even the older guys that snap at him and his energy. And he ignores the cats after getting slapped a few times. He loves kids but we do recommend older kids because he doesn't know his size and will accidentally knock them down. Loves to play with doggy friends and has lots of energy. Does super well in his crate and walks good on the leash. He does prefer to be be fed separately. He loves toys and carries one around constantly trying to get every dog to play with him. Rides well in the car. He is now completely vetted and here in WI and ready to find his very own forever family to love and entertain. If interested an online application can be found at SandiPaws.org for this big boyThank you for your interest in a Sandi Paws Rescue, Inc. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org for more information on our organization or to fill out an application to adopt one of our pets. You can find information for volunteering on our site as well.

Story
Venus is an adorable, Great Dane mix who weighs about 109 lbs. She can be a little shy and timid at first, but once you give her a few treats, she is sweet and affectionate. She knows basic commands like `sit`, `down`, `paw`, `leave-it`, `watch` and more! She is potty-trained and crate trained. She is considered a medium energy dog, who is food motivated and very bright because she is picking up training fast! She would do best in a house without other pets. She is a sensitive girl who is working hard on her dog reactivity training during walks! She is a good dog who will stare into your eyes lovingly and give little kisses. She is also a good office companion while her foster mom works from home! Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!To sponsor my trip to WI, go to  www.tailwaggers911.com  for more info! ***I am able to go home to my forever family right off of transport! You get a 5 day trial with me in your home. Put in your application soon!*** Please help me get out! I am currently in a place where there are lots of unwanted dogs and not all of us here get the chance I might have to leave! But in order to help me out of here to catch the ride to WI on February 7th and arrive on February 8th, I need *both* a sponsor, and a WI foster home *or* a WI adopter! I have a place for now, but I can't stay here forever and I am worried. The rescue has put a hold on me to save my spot on the trip up north to WI, but now they need YOUR help to get me there - don't wait!!! Updated: 1/16/25 Dog Name: Aponi Sex: Female Spay Status: She is spayed Estimated Breed Mix: Anatolian Shepherd/ Lab mix Approximate Age: 2 years  Approximate Weight: approx. 51 lbs Adoption Fee: $450 Description: Aponi was found roaming the streets of a small rural town, she is very sweet and gentle. She is dog and kid friendly and loves to cuddle. Aponi would love to go on walks with you and will gladly follow you around the house. She has a blonde & beautiful, very soft coat!We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. January 16, 2025, 10:03 pm
