Story
Sweet Winnie is a year and a half and weighs in at 75 lbs. She does have some Great Dane in her bloodline. She is very loving and affectionate, loves to bring her toys to you. She would be great with dogs her size as she is a little too much for smaller dogs. She also does well with the kitties. She is looking for a fun loving forever home to go on adventures with her. If you would like to meet this wonderful girl, please continue to read and fill out our on line application. https://cliffordsarmyrescue.com/1423-2/ RECOMMENDATIONS & PROCEDURES Please note, the following are recommendations for puppies and different breeds of dogs. We will evaluate each application on an individual basis to see what is best for the dog/puppy and the potential adopter. Puppies are very fragile and not toys. We recommend children be at least six years old to be considered to adopt a puppy. Small breed dogs ( such as chihuahuas, yorkies, shih tzus , etc) we recommend children be at least eight years old. Herding, working breeds we recommend children to be at least 12 years old. Again these are recommendations. Adoption Procedures: We will travel up to two hours ( one way) to do physical home visits and we do not do virtual home visits. Most of our dogs come from bad situations and we want to know where their forever home is going to be. While we do not require fencing on all dogs, certain dogs that need a fenced in yard, will not be adopted unless potential adopter has one. We also adopt some dogs to people who live in apartments ( as long as the landlord approves) but not all dogs. We do not adopt to anyone under 21 years of age. We also do not feel college students are the best fit for most of our dogs. Most of our dogs again, come from bad situations and need lots of attention. Most college students have financial responsibilities and we feel need to be focused on school. Our goal is to match the dog with a family that fits the dog’s needs. We are solely focused on what is best for each dog in our rescue. These dogs have had enough moving around, dumped out like trash, and we want to ensure they find their forever home. We do require you sign a contract and if at any time you cannot continue to provide for the dog, the dog comes back to the rescue. Your first step to adoption is filling our our on line application. You will then get an automated email stating we got your application Next our adoption coordinator will be in touch either by phone or email If your references check out, a home visit will be scheduled. After the home visit is done, a meet and greet with the dog you are interested in and/or any other available dogs we have will be scheduled If the dog and you are a match, contract will be signed and you may take your new family member home. Story
Milo is a 15-week-old puppy with a gentle soul, wiggly puppy energy, and so much love to give. After a difficult start to life—being neglected and treated poorly for not looking like his siblings—Milo is ready for a fresh beginning with a family who will cherish him. He’s a shy boy at first, but once he feels safe, Milo will give you his whole heart. He’s a total cuddle bug who wants to be as close to you as possible and will happily follow you from room to room. With his long legs and bouncy hops, he moves like a little kangaroo and brings constant smiles with his goofy, clumsy charm. Milo loves other dogs, enjoys playtime, and is learning the ropes in his foster home. He’s working on basic training, doing well with leash walks, sleeps in his crate at night, and looks to his older foster brother for confidence and guidance. Milo needs a patient, loving home that will help him continue building confidence and show him that he is finally safe and loved—exactly as he is. 🐾💙 --- To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html

Story
Meet Boone 💙 Hi! My name is Boone, and my stunning blue eyes are usually the first thing people notice about me—but I promise there’s so much more to love. I’m a very good boy and pretty smart (or at least that’s what everyone tells me!). I sleep through the night in my crate and I’m working hard on my house training. My foster mom says I’m doing great! I walk nicely on a leash, though loud noises can startle me sometimes. I’m learning that the world isn’t such a scary place after all. I can be a little cautious when meeting new people or going to new places, but don’t let that fool you—I warm up quickly and will happily melt into your lap for snuggles and naps. I love being around people, including kids, and I get along well with other dogs and even cats. My favorite things include hard chew toys and chasing a tennis ball. I had a rough start in life, but I’m ready for a fresh beginning. I’m looking forward to finding my forever family and learning what love is all about. Could that be you? 🐶💙 --- To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html

Story
Meet Pandy 🐼 Pandy is a Great Dane / Catahoula mix puppy who clearly missed the memo that she’s a BIG girl. In her mind, she’s still small enough to be scooped up and held like a baby—and honestly, she wouldn’t have it any other way. This confident, happy pup loves to bounce around and play with other dogs, but her absolute favorite place is curled up with her human. If cuddling were an Olympic sport, Pandy would be going for gold. She thrives on connection and just wants to be wherever her people are. Named after a panda, Pandy truly lives up to it—cute, rolly, food-motivated, and always ready for her next snack or nap. She’s a confident girl who’s eager to tackle new adventures, whether that’s exploring the outdoors or settling in for a cozy night at home. If you’re looking for a loving, playful puppy with a big heart (and an even bigger cuddle game), Pandy is ready to meet you. --- To apply to adopt, please follow the steps for adoption on HalfwayThereRescue.com/Adoption-Process and apply directly here: https://fs26.formsite.com/htrnp/a2k3lsooud/index.html

Meet Bear more like baby bear. This boy is all legs and personality. Once he didn't want love now he not only wants love he wants to give it back 10 fold. When out playing he is like a kangaroo bouncing and jumping around just happy to be a dog.
