Composed.And as sweet as they come.Marge is a 4-year-old Great Dane mix with an easy-going, steady nature. She’s likely housebroken and truly one of those dogs who seems to move through the world softly, asking for very little in return.Marge is high heartworm positive, but she is not without hope. MOAS will lovingly guide her through heartworm treatment once she has a foster or adoptive home. She simply needs a place to land before treatment can begin. She needs to start treatment soon, so we'd love to get her out of here. Fast. If you’ve been waiting for a quiet companion with a beautiful soul who truly needs to be saved, this is your sign. Come meet Marge and you'll see. She may need you right now, but she'll spend the rest of her life showing you why YOU were the one who needed HER. 🤍🐾Please call the shelter at (706) 795-2868 to schedule a meet and greet.Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Please feel free to call the shelter Wednesday-Sunday to inquire about the animal you are interested in. 706-795-2868.Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM. All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet. Fees:Dogs over 6 months old: $100Puppies under 6 months: $200. Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip). For your convenience you can fill out an adoption application for any of our current residents at www.moaspets.com.
