Danae is a very calm, well-tempered, sweet, kind, and gentle girl who is a proud momma to multiple litters. She may surprise you with how big she is, but she is certain to win over your heart with how precious she is. Danae seems to be house trained, walks well on a leash, appears to get along with most dogs, and seems unbothered by cats. If you are looking for a kind-hearted and gracious beauty to bring home and make a new member of your family, come meet Danae! If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Gremlin is being fostered in NC. Howdy, I'm Gremlin, a 6 month old Great Dane, but don't worry, you CAN get me wet and I won't turn into Spike! I actually LOVE playing in water. My foster Mommy says I am a gentle giant, but I am still a baby and very playful. I need to learn my commands by touch because I cannot see or hear. And, well, I can be a little slower and I need repetitiveness with my training so I can be a very good boy. My foster Mommy is working with me on my manners, but I can be a bit slow because I have a great nose for food wherever it is heehee. It takes me a little time to navigate a new area, but I will get it, just be patient with me. Right now, I have a Cane Corso foster sister to play with and I love playing tug and wrestle with her. I am already potty and crate trained! When I wake in the morning, I will bark to let you know I has to go outside to do my business. I also walk well on a leash. The bestest thing I really love is to have my ears rubbed and to cuddle with humans. I don't know why they feel squished, after all, I'm the same size as a chihuahua aren't I LOL I just want my very own family to love me and guide me along my journey in this life. And, of course, to cuddle with furever. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

He is a very sweet boy, loving and sensitive. He enjoys any sunny spot on the floor and just relaxing. He loves walks but doesn't desire or require much play to be happy. He enjoys throwing toys around outside with you though. He requires a fence but ours is only 4ft and he seems to feel its 10ft tall. He also is fine behind small baby gates he could get over easily if he wasn't afraid, lol. He is trained for basic commands I can give the new family and aside from a big boy bark when visitors come to door he is well behaved. He has been around minis and large females and is very aware of his size and gentle. Another dog sister or brother would be great as he's a cuddle. Prefer someone not be gone all hours of the day as I worked from home most days and he is used to company when possible. He is up to date on shots and healthy no issues. I was diagnosed with a condition that makes my care for him extremely difficult as it progresses. I want the very best caring home for him.
