Story
Any Great Dane lovers out there?! Meet Bella! Bella is the sweetest, goofiest, and most loving girl who is looking for her forever home. Bella is a 2 year old, 81 pound Great Dane that was surrendered to Zoes House Rescue. Bella's favorite way to spend her day is playing with toys, chewing a bone, getting tons of pets, exploring on walks, and napping on an empty (or full, she doesn't mind) lap! Bella has responded well to all people and dogs that she has met. Bella is very food motivated and has been doing a great job with training. She will show you all of her skills when asked to sit, stay, and shake. Bella is leash trained and loves exploring new environments. She can be timid when seeing new places and things but warms up very quickly once she is reminded that she is okay! Bella is a two year old but you would hardly know it with all the energy and fun she brings to your home! She enjoys burning energy by going on walks, chewing on bones, or solving puzzles. She enjoys challenges that keep her engaged so kongs, puzzles or lick mats have been fun activities for her to try. Bella does great in a crate and sleeps well in it throughout the night. Bella has not had a single accident in her foster home. Potty training regression could be expected when getting familiar with a new environment. Bella’s Perfect Home: Bella is an easy-going girl that could fit into many different family scenarios . However, it would be best if any future human siblings would be older and dog savvy to ensure that Bella’s size does not overwhelm them. Bella would be great as an only dog so that she could have her family's undivided attention but she has previously lived with other dogs. Bella is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, spayed, and has been on flea/tick/heartworm prevention since coming into the rescue. Story
Hello, I am Quinn! I came to the shelter as a stray along with a doggie friend. She`s since been adopted, and I`m just as frazzled as to why I`m not adopted. I may enjoy living with another dog again, as long as they are fairly calm, because I tend to be a nervous nelly. I am open to living with children of all ages as long as they can respect that I am shy and sensitive at first (I don`t seem to know my own size!). I am not sure how I feel about cats but I am willing to try with proper introduction. It may take me some time to come out of my shell, but with patience I will surely be a loving and personable pooch. I may be an older lady but that doesn`t mean I am any less deserving of a wonderful family, happiness, and companionship for the rest of my life!My foster has learned that I am housebroken, and that after a bit of time letting me come out of my shell, I`ll open up and start letting you know what I want, which is usually a cuddle on the couch. Please make an appointment to meet me and take me home!---If you are interested in adopting, you must complete an application and make an appointment, as I am IN FOSTER CARE. Completed apps includes a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm.---The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603Kennel #16516717-917-6979lancaster@pspca.org

Story
Behr came to us through no fault of his own as his owner’s living situation had changed. He was hopefully going to be an emotional support dog as he has an easy going temperament. He still has some puppy energy and would benefit from romps in the back yard , possibly with kids and or other dogs which would be the best fit as he does not enjoy being on his own very much. He is house trained and crate trained.and he is neutered and pexied. Behr is super smart and and takes to training easily as he is very food motivated. He walks nicely on leash and enjoys time with his person.

Story
My name is Dixie and I am 8 months old. I came into rescue with my sister Dora. I am happy and playful and enjoy playing outside with the kids in my foster home and also with my sister. Dora is the more out-going one of the two of us, so when there are a lot of people visiting the farm, I watch Dora to see if it is ok to come over and say hello. I am very good at eating, sleeping and playing but I need more practice with walking nicely on the leash. If you think that I would be a good fit for your home, please contact your local chapter of the MAGDRL today!

Story
Scratch is a 1 year old neutered male great dane/terrier mix who weighs 85 lbs. Scratch is looking for a new home after his person was no longer able to keep him due to landlord issues. This guy has been nothing but sweet, but is clearly confused about why he isn’t in his home anymore. He will need a family willing to help boost his confidence as he wasn’t socialized much in his previous home. He seems to do well with other dogs and previously lived with a small dog without issue. Scratch has SO much potential and has learned so much already! He loves to be with his people and playing with toys. Fetch is his favorite game! He’s done well on walks and hasn’t been reactive to those he crosses paths with. He is shy with new people at first, but warms up when he’s given a chance to feel safe. Scratch loves bananas and cheese, but hates peanut butter. While he loves to play in true puppy fashion, he’s also an expert snuggler. Scratch has always known love from his family and cannot wait to land in another home full of kindness and people who love him. Please help us find Scratch the devoted forever family he so desperately deserves!Interested in adopting?
