FULLY FENCED YARD REQUIRED***** Walter is a handsome 2 1/2 year old Great Dane with the sweetest temperament. He weighs in at 120 lbs and is great with other dogs. He has been around a cat before and was fine. Walter is a happy boy that can be exuberant at times so no little children in his new home. He is 100% house broken and crate trained too. Walter would do great in a home with another dog as long as the dog is friendly with other dogs and can handle a good game of chase and some rough play at times. He just loves to have fun! He’d prefer to have a fully fenced in yard to hang out and not have to be leashed to do his business. He is a true Great Dane in that he loves to be your shadow and follow you everywhere. He loves to sleep in bed with you and cuddle up next to you on the couch. He also loves to back up and sit on your lap or on the couch next to you. Walter can be a little nervous meeting new people but quickly warms up. He is up-to-date on all his vetting and vaccinations. He is neutered and already microchipped. Kai is being fostered in a private home. Appointments to meet him will be set up for approved adopters only. Adoption fee is $500. Bella - Female Great Dane Age: 06/03/2021  Good with: Cats: Unknown Dogs: Yes, needs slow introduction Kids: Yes, needs slow introduction Location: Fort Worth, TX Weight: 105 lbs Bella has a very sweet temperament and gets along well with all dogs she has been exposed to in foster care. She is not reactive on walks, even when other dogs are. She seems to genuinely want to meet everyone on our walks. When she is comfortable with the other pets she will play hard. I am not sure she had other companion animals in the previous home. She has three canine companions in her foster home. The youngest is a young neutered male mutt who loves to rough house which seems to have opened up her funny side. Bella will engage in rambunctious play. They will chase each other around the yard and wrestle. She has really found herself here. She is vocal in the yard, but not so much in the house. She will alert when other dogs are barking from the other side of the fence. She is very friendly and is not observant of personal space. She will need affirmation of her place in the home. Bella will need an adopter who will keep her engaged and play with her. Bella is very affectionate and will stand right in front of you for her fair share of lovin’. Bella is treat motivated, knows sit, shake, and go to bed. When told to go to bed she will go to the designated area to retire for the night, whether a dog bed in a quiet room or her crate. A first time giant owner may be intimidated by her hyper nature and need for constant stimulation. A family with another dog would help with helping her to burn off extra energy and to mesh into the family easier. Bella would also be good as an only dog with an owner or family committed to keeping her engaged and active. The adoptive family should have a fenced yard, as Bella will run as fast and as far as possible. Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, the dog is considered available for adoption.  Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters. Transportation from the foster home to the adopter is the responsibility of the adopter to coordinate. Just Giants does not adopt outside of the continental US. Diesel - Male Great Dane Age: 4 Years Gets along with: Cats: Needs slow introduction Dogs: Yes Kids: Needs slow introduction given size Location: Northeast Indiana Weight: 145 lbs Diesel came into rescue very shutdown, but quickly came out of his shell to a happy Dane, and all that that entails (bouncy boy with a deadly tail). He has fit right in with the three other dogs and cats in his foster home. He is learning what toys are, but doesn’t play much yet. He will follow you around (even when vacuuming) and will help you in the kitchen. He spends the night in his crate, but would prefer sleeping in the bedroom (we will leave that up to his new home). He loves snuggling on the couch, and naps there regularly. He walks on a leash, but needs a little more work. Like most big dogs he like his head and ears scratched, but will turn around so you can scratch his butt. Diesel would fit in almost any family. He is good with other dogs, but would be happy to be the center of attention as an only dog. He would like occasional walks, but is great at taking naps. His recall is still slow, so a fenced yard would be needed. Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, the dog is considered available for adoption.  Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters. Meet Trixie, a beautiful, fun Great Dane who is about 4 years old and weighs about 100 lbs. Trixie is so very sweet and always wants to cuddle. Does she know that she is 100 lbs and not a lap dog? She certainly does not! She loves to be the center of your world. She is super smart and treat motivated her, so training her has been and will be a joy. She is protective of her home but not at all aggressive, and she has become BFFs with the resident dog. Since she doesn't really understand her size, we would like to place her in a home with kids 12 or older only.  We also would like her in a home with a securely fenced in yard.  If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application  . Hello world, my name is Agatha! I am an 11 month old Great Dane girlie and I'm doing my best to learn how to be a dog over here in my foster home. So far, so good! I like the other dogs and I will need a dog friend in my forever home who can keep showing me how to live the good life! I think I'd probably be fine with cats, too. I like the older kids I've met and I think I'd also like little ones! I am working on my puppy training but my forever family will need to keep working with me since my foster fam says I don't have "manners" yet, whatever those are. I am happy to report that I happily spend time in my crate and am fully potty trained! Though I can be timid, once I get to know you, I am a total love bug. I am trusting of my human friends and I like to give kisses and cuddles. I will follow you everywhere and lay my head on you after you've had a long day. If you're looking for a lovable lanky lady, I am ready to find my future family and I'd be thrilled to meet you! My adoption fee is $800 - This includes Gastropexy Surgery when I'm of age!

World, please meet Jolie! Jolie is a 3.5 month old Great Dane who currently weighs 38 pounds (and counting!). Jolie is great with other dogs and she loves to meet new humans. She is doing great with crate training in her foster home! Potty training is a work in progress but she will get there with patience and guidance! Jolie loves playing with other dogs and we think she'd be happy to have dog friends in her forever home, or she'd be fine as an only dog soaking up all the attention. This girl is now the last of her litter still looking for a home and we don't know why! She has the sweetest personality.... She is playful but not crazy playful. She is also a very calm dog, not much bothers her. She gets along with other dogs, cats and kids. She is house broken with a doggy door, if there isn't one, she will need to learn the new bathroom routine. She does well on a leash and in a car. She is very curious and does like to find new things to chew (not furniture, mainly random stuff laying where she can get to it). She is just a wonderful gal who deserves a family to love. She's in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

This boy was returned due to owners downsizing. He is a sweet boy who is doing well in a foster home. He is house trained with a doggy door but will need to be taught a different routine if there is no door. He does well with cats and other dogs. He does like to jump so small kids will need to be careful. He must be kept busy as he does like to chew and have things to do. He does appreciate sleeping on a human bed but is fine on a dog bed also. He does well on a leash and on car rides. He is just a big sweet boy who is needing a family who can keep him occupied (farm, walks, outdoor activities, etc....) He just wants his forever family and we know there's one out there. He is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

This boy was surrendered when the owners could not take care of him. His mom was a Bullmastiff and they had no idea who the dad is. If you like water this is your boy!! He loves kiddie pools and chasing water from a hose. Being soaked is his thing. He loves to play and gets along with other dogs. He will need all the basic puppy training and patience that comes along with it. He is a sweet boy who is always happy to greet anyone coming to say "Hi". He's just a wonderful boy that is looking for a new family to be with forever. He is located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.
