Story
Dog's Name: Archie Age or Date of Birth: 2 Gender: Male Breed: Great Dane Dog's Weight: 76lbs Crate Trained - goes to crate/kennel on command Potty Trained - indicates need to potty and doesn't have indoor accidents Archie has been in his foster home almost a week, what I have learned about him so far. The world is so scary to him, but if you have treats to give he will temporarily forget about the scary stuff. He is thoroughly enjoying all of his yummy goodies sweater and beds that people sent. He absolutely loves to be around his people and does not like to be alone, but if there’s another dog around he’s content as well. Don’t be fooled to leave any food out because he will take it with no shame at all! Archie's perfect family? Right now, he needs time to heal and get healthy, as I learn more about him I’ll be able to get a better idea of his best forever home. Story
Hi, I'm new to rescue. Please check back to learn more about me once I settle into my foster home, decompress and receive medical care. Follow Just Giants on Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok to watch my journey and receive updates. Name: Belle Breed: Great Dane Color: Brindle Age or DOB: EST 07/01/2023 Gender: Female Weight: 110 lbs Location: Plainfield, IL Good with cats? Unknown Good with kids? Yes Good with dogs? Yes Belle is very timid. She doesn’t come up to you on her own. We are using a leash to take her outside because I am afraid if she is out on her own she won’t come in without having to corral her. We are working on her giving us signs to go out. Right now we are taking her out often so she knows where she needs to go to go out. She is a hungry girl. We are feeding her 3 times a day. She needs to find a family that will give her space and let her get comfortable on her own terms. She is very sweet and can’t wait to see her open up in the weeks to come. Belle needs an adopter that has a fenced in yard. She is adjusting but very skittish so having a yard will keep her from getting loose. She doesn’t need a first time giant owner she is very sweet and gentle. Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. To apply to adopt from Just Giants Rescue fill out an online application with the $25 application donation. All approved applications are good for 12 months. Meet and greets can be scheduled with approved adopters. All dogs adopted from Just Giants Rescue are up to date on vaccines (Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Some exceptions may apply. All adoption fees are non-refundable; Just Giants is a NFP 501(c)3 organization. ##2283158##

Story
Hi, I'm new to rescue. Please check back to learn more about me once I settle into my foster home, decompress and receive medical care. Follow Just Giants on Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok to watch my journey and receive updates. Dog’s Name: Mika Location: Midlothian, Il Age or Date of Birth: July 1, 2023 Gender: Female Breed: Great Dane Color: Brindle Dogs Weight: 101 Good With Dogs?: Unknown Good with cats?: Unknown Good with kids?: Yes Mika has been in foster care for two days and has really come out of her shell.  She was very timid on day one, but quickly starting showing a desire to get attention from her foster family on day two.  She's now starting to show her playful side.  She hasn't met the resident dogs yet, so we are unable to comment on if she get's along with other dogs yet.  Mika hasn't had any potty accidents in the house, but she hasn't indicated a need to go out either.  She is let out when the resident dogs go out (but separately right now) and she has gone potty each time.  Belle is very timid. She doesn’t come up to you on her own. We are using a leash to take her outside because I am afraid if she is out on her own she won’t come in without having to corral her.  Mike is very thin and let's you know when she's hungry.  The resident dogs are fed breakfast and dinner and that's Mika's schedule, however she also wants lunch.  She is very sweet and and gets excited to see her foster family, even if they have been out of the room for just a few minutes.   On night two, Mika made it clear she didn't want to go into her crate, but ultimately gave in. She fussed for about 30 minutes, but we didn't hear a peep out of her after that.   If Mika were adopted today, we would say her adopter needs to give her time to adjust to her new home and family.  She warms up somewhat quickly, but when it comes to her surroundings, she's a bit anxious at first.  A fenced yard would be great so she can run off her extra energy.   It appears a first time jiant owner would get a good fit for Mika as she is a gentle girl. Until the profile is removed from the public’s view, this dog is considered available for adoption. Story
Meet Bubbles!  Bubbles is a sweet and playful 1-year-old Lab/Great Dane/ Hound mix with a stunning white coat and a heart as big as her paws! Despite her size (60 lbs) , Bubbles firmly believes she’s a lap dog and will happily snuggle up with you for some quality cuddle time. This snow-loving gal absolutely adores frolicking in the winter wonderland, especially when she can romp around with her current best friends—two lively resident beagles! Her playful energy and gentle demeanor make her the perfect companion for a family that enjoys outdoor fun and cozy evenings. What Makes Bubbles Special? Housebroken: She knows her bathroom manners, so no messes to worry about! Good Manners: Whether it’s sitting politely for treats or walking nicely on a leash, Bubbles has mastered the art of being a well-behaved lady. Social Butterfly: She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves making new furry friends. What She’s Looking For: Bubbles would thrive in an active home with plenty of space to stretch her long legs and people who will shower her with love and attention. If you have a fenced yard and maybe even a furry friend or two, she’ll fit right in! Bubbles is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and ready to find her forever family. Could that be you? If you are interested in adopting/meeting this pup , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application  . Story
Hello world! I am Tater, a 8 month old, 75 pound, Great Dane puppy! I am a sweet girl who makes friends easily with the dogs I've met so far! I'm not interested in cats so we can coexist just fine. I'm still a big nervous with new people, including children, but I just got to this new place and I'm still settling in. And Once I get used to my human friends, I love to be around them! Now that I know my foster family is safe, I beg for pets all the time :) My foster family, including my canine foster bro, is helping me with my training needs, and I hope my forever family will continue to be patient with me as I get comfortable and learn new things! I am still getting used to my crate, and I'm doing well going to the bathroom outside. I am looking forward to all the good things ahead, I just need the right person to guide me and help me gain the confidence I need to succeed! I promise it will be very rewarding to see me come out of my shell! Do you think you and I will be a match? If so, let TNT know! My adoption fee is $800 which includes Gastropexy
