She is a fan favorite wherever she goes. Stella enters a room with grace and utter joy. She wants to spread love to all who she encounters with hugs and kisses. She likes being around other dogs, going for walks and car rides and chewing on all toys. She goes into her crate with no hesitation; however, she has already earned free roam in her foster home. She can be a bit skittish about going through doors and when hearing loud noises. She loves her couch and even more so with a human by her side. She is housebroken and knows how to sit nicely for treats. She is truly a lovely girl with a big heart. Unfortunately, since Stella came from the south, she is heartworm positive. Although unfortunate, it can be treated, and the rescue will walk her adopter through the process. All medications and treatment will be covered by the rescue. Potential adopters will speak to a member of our medical team about treatment, prior to adoption. All applicants should be within a 50 mile radius of our rescue. A few years ago, this sweet girl was found dumped along the fence of our rescue! She was skin and bones and needed immediate help, so we named her MayDay. Our best guess is she around 6 or 7 years old and a Great Dane/ Staffshire terrier mix. She is very gentle, loves people, and really enjoys car rides. Mayday gets along with males, but is not very playful with other dogs. She would do best as the only fur baby in the home. Since she has been a kennel dog her whole life, MayDay is not pot trained so she will need a family who understands that. This dear girl would love a chance to live out her days in the comfort of a home with a family who will love her! Hello world, my name is Agatha! I am an 11 month old Great Dane girlie and I'm doing my best to learn how to be a dog over here in my foster home. So far, so good! I like the other dogs and I will need a dog friend in my forever home who can keep showing me how to live the good life! I think I'd probably be fine with cats, too. I like the older kids I've met and I think I'd also like little ones! Tuna melt your heart! This spotted beauty is a 5 year old, 108 pound, Great Dane! Tuna is a calm and regal lady. She doesn't mind the company of other dogs, but she's content to do her own thing as well. She came to us from a not so great past, so she is learning everything there is to know about being a member of a family. She's not a big fan of being by herself in a crate and would prefer to hangout with her humans and sleep in her bed outside of the crate at night. She likes to ask for attention and shows it in return by leaning up against her people for pets. She's working on potty training and getting the hang of going for walks. She love a home with a fence to lounge around outside, but it's not required and she does well walking on a leash. She has dry eye, but it's easily treated with some eye drops! She will need patience and lots love while she comes out of her shell. Oh, and her forever home must be ready for some Great Dane drool!
