Story
Theo now at the age of 3 was found on the streets of STL and was taken in by Gateway Pet Guardians, he suffered from double cherry eye and a complete urethra prolapse and penial injury. The shelter did an amazing job fixing all of his injuries however at least every 3 to 4 months he does have some penial bleeding due to the loss of part of it and being left with some sensitive skin. Though this is considered a special need he handles it very well and it is easy to treat, just a diaper and some gentle cleaning allows for the flower to go back in and it is all done. He is the biggest cuddler you can find, he just wants to be with his people even kids, he has spent the last two years with two French bulldog siblings so he thinks he is a small dog. He is housebroken and will let you know he needs to potty by going to the door and pawing at it, he is not crate and sadly needs to be the only male in the home due to circumstances between him and my male, he is a great loving boy!!

Our adoption fee is $275.00 which includes Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, current heart worm test, DHPP booster, Bordetella vaccine, Microchip, Worming.Tippi Est DOB 4/3/2022 Female Lab Mix Tippi is a sweet girl who came from a bad place. Because of the past, she is unsure of strangers. But once she knows she can trust you, she is a wonderful girl. She would need a home without kids. She does ok with some dogs but not sure about cats. She is crate trained and is doing very well with learning manners.Please help us make room to save more homeless pets!!! Adopting from Hope Rescues saves the life of two.. the one you adopt and the one your adoption makes room for. We are a Rescue which means we physically go and save lives. Archie was an unclaimed stray saved from our local pound. He is fun and goofy...LOVES to play with his ball and (in warm weather) splash in his baby pool. He's good in the house and not destructive - but he has a serious mistrust of strangers. He will warm up to them after a session of ball throwing - but would need to be heavily managed at first. Story
Buddy was originally found on the side of the road. He has been living with my niece until about a year ago when she had to change her living situation. We have been fostering him for the last year, however, he is still expressing some selectiveness to some men who come over and towards my male dog. It is in the best interest of my home to find somewhere else for him to live. Every shelter we have contacted about surrendering him says he will be put down since he is 140 lbs, black and a dane with some behavioral issues. Has lived with female dogs smaller than him. However, my male dog and him have had a few tiffs. Lately he has become more protective of me and will be aggressive toward my husband when he comes home from work late at night. He has not bit anyone in my house but about 1.5 years ago he did bite a male that he did not know who thought it was a good idea to grab his jowls. He walks great on a leash. I will bring him to anyone willing to work. He is very sweet.
