A few years ago, this sweet girl was found dumped along the fence of our rescue! She was skin and bones and needed immediate help, so we named her MayDay. Our best guess is she around 6 or 7 years old and a Great Dane/ Staffshire terrier mix. She is very gentle, loves people, and really enjoys car rides. Mayday gets along with males, but is not very playful with other dogs. She would do best as the only fur baby in the home. Since she has been a kennel dog her whole life, MayDay is not pot trained so she will need a family who understands that. This dear girl would love a chance to live out her days in the comfort of a home with a family who will love her! Molly is an amazing dog. Until recently our 2 Great Danes have been best friends but for some reason they do not get along anymore. We have done lots of training and it continues to be an issue. Molly loves to walk and play fetch. She is a great walker and well trained. She is well behaved in the house. We have an XL cage, toys and bowls that can go with her. She would need a fenced in yard because she loves to go outside. Molly is anxious and does take fluoxetine daily but her anxiety is managed well. She is the sweetest girl and we will miss her but having to separate them all the time is no longer realistic. We just want to find a calm home that can love her and give her a good life.

Meet Chandler!Chandler is a young Great Dane who quickly won over the hearts of all the AHF volunteers; and is ready to win over yours too!Chandler loves people and even though he's a big boy (and still has more growing to do), he's also great with kids. Play hard, nap hard is Chandler's motto and a yard would be a huge perk to let out some of that energy before he cozies up on the couch. He loves his canine friends and wouldn't mind sharing his forever home with another dog as he's currently fostered with two other dogs. He has not been introduced to cats. Chandler can be strong on leash but walks nicely with his harness. He is currently working on potty training but we believe he will catch on soon. He is already crate trained.
