She is considered a medium energy dog, who is food motivated and very bright because she is picking up training fast! She would do best in a house without other pets. Looking for a new single dog home for our ~3.5 year old, spayed, female Great Dane mix named Bridgette. She was rescued by my husband prior to us getting together, had a past of being a stray in Missouri and not getting along with other dogs. Despite our efforts through training both dogs to help correct this behavior with my female dog in the house, she needs to be re-homed to an only dog household. She loves cuddling, sleeping all day, being lazy on her bed, loves all people, and just wants to be loved on. She loves being outside, squirrel stalking/watching, bird watching, and walks. Would thrive on a place with land to roam and be outside for sure or with a large backyard. She listens well, knows sit, stay, down, place, shake, etc., is crate trained, and obviously potty trained. She loves traveling and is very good in the car. She loves the teenage neighbor kids as well as my teenage cousins. She does have separation anxiety, therefore she must be crated while gone.

A few years ago, this sweet girl was found dumped along the fence of our rescue! She was skin and bones and needed immediate help, so we named her MayDay. Our best guess is she around 6 or 7 years old and a Great Dane/ Staffshire terrier mix. She is very gentle, loves people, and really enjoys car rides. Mayday gets along with males, but is not very playful with other dogs. She would do best as the only fur baby in the home. Since she has been a kennel dog her whole life, MayDay is not pot trained so she will need a family who understands that. This dear girl would love a chance to live out her days in the comfort of a home with a family who will love her!
