If you think this fun and goofy girl is a fit for your family, and you've considered the expenses of a giant breed dog, please fill out an application at https://brokenheartsrescue.wixsite.com/mysite/general-6-1 NOT AT ADOPT A PET. MUST BE WITHIN 4HRS OF TWIN FALLS, IDAHO. Sometimes, we will recommend professional training when adopting a certain dog out, both to help them, (AND YOU) learn how to best integrate that dog into your home. Training forms a bond and creates solid communication with you and your new family member. Since coming back, Siri has completed professional training and received her Canine Good Citizenship. She now has a great foundation for her new family to build on. You don't happen upon a great dog. You become great with the dog. Siri is a 1 1/2 year old, 100lb, Great Dane who has been spayed, double cherry eyes fixed, and had gastropexy surgery to prevent her stomach from flipping, which can be common in giant breeds. She is 1000% goofy girl. Though she sounds tough with her deep bark, she is more likely to tuck tail and hide behind you if something is scary. In fact, her recent trip to the vet had her sitting on her foster mom's lap while getting her vaccines. 🤣 Water from a hose is so fun, until the hose turns on her, then it's a mad dash to run away, tripping over her feet as she goes. Siri loves car rides and hopes her new family will take her on many adventures. A lot of experiences are very new to her, but she wants to be by your side doing it together. Siri is a little bit of a drama queen if she wants to do something, like go for a walk and you tell her no. Like every child, she tends to voice her opinion on why life is not fair. I swear she knows what you are saying, and you can almost understand her side of the argument. Siri will need a family committed to keeping up with her training. She is so much better with her new skills and her family needs to know how to help her continue to be the best girl she can be. Her adoption fee is $300 to help cover her medical and training.

Story
If Kindrow had a theme song, it would be “Take Me Home, Country Roads” by John Denver. He loves everything about country life; wide open spaces, a slower pace, the morning sounds of farm animals, the fresh scent of dew-covered grass, and simple living. We didn’t realize this until he moved to his current foster, who lives on a country property. It’s like he was born for this life! Hence his nickname: "Kickback Country Boy." But Kindrow is more than just a country-loving pup… he's your best friend and the sidekick you never knew you needed. Watch his video, and you’ll be clicking that adoption link in no time: https://youtu.be/Wjc8DaDIUYs?si=ngyBEd9WFlDqbbrH Kindrow is tall with a big, blocky head, possibly a Great Dane, Mastiff, or Boxer mix. As a rescue, we can only guess his breed. Despite his size, he’s a total softie, weighing just 74 lbs and around 1.5 years old. Mornings with Kindrow are peaceful. He’ll snuggle all night, never stirring, and even lets you sleep in. When you wake, you’ll find him lounging on the patio, watching the sunrise, waiting to start the day. Living on a farm, he’s great with animals. Horses, chickens, ducks, and cows don’t faze him. During the day, he follows his foster off-leash while tending to the animals or doing chores. In town, he’s the perfect errand buddy, riding shotgun, simply enjoying the trip. If he stays home, his foster checks in via a doggy camera and finds him either patiently looking out the window or napping with a stuffy toy. No troublemaking here! He’s also crate-trained, comfortably going 7–8 hours with no accidents. At bedtime, he’ll wait for an invitation onto the bed; a true gentleman and great housemate. Kindrow is gentle and patient with children, even as young as four. While he tolerates loud noises and quick movements, he prefers older kids (14+) who respect his space and enjoy more structured play, like fetch or tag. If younger kids visit occasionally, he’ll be just fine, as long as his home is generally relaxed. Kindrow enjoys doggy friends of all sizes but does best with medium-energy, submissive females who prefer gentle play over nonstop roughhousing. He’s also great with small dogs, respecting their space and size. He even met Mateo, a 12-lb pup, and after some initial shyness, they became best friends—sharing toys, treats, and snuggles. However, he needs a cat-free home. He somehow knows chickens are friends, but cats are not. Kindrow is leash-trained, knows basic commands, and is highly food-motivated, making training easy and fun. He’ll love bonding over learning new tricks! If your days include fishing at the pond, sitting around a firepit, working on the land, taking back-road drives, or just watching the sunset, Kindrow is your perfect match. He even enjoys kicking back to watch your favorite show! We’re happy to test him with anything you need to ensure he’s the right fit. Just ask! Ready to make Kindrow part of your family? Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
