Story
Remy has been a very good dog. My daughter and her family have had her since she was 8 weeks old. My daughter moved out of the country and was not able to take Remy with her. We have taken care of her for a few months at our home, but we will be traveling a lot and possibly moving soon and will not be able to take Remy with us. Remy is good with kids and other dogs once she gets to know them. Most of the time she prefers to lay around in her bed, but she can be very playful at times and loves going for walks.

Story
Penny is up for adoption! Penny is an adorable 4 month old puppy. Her mama, Grace a mix of Pit/Great Dane/Boxer has passed down her gentle and loving nature to Penny. She has a slight black tip on her tail and white socks on her feet which distinguishes her from her siblings. While we don’t know who dad was, we anticipate Penny and her siblings will grow into medium to large-sized dogs. Born in our care, Penny has been surrounded by love and attention from the very beginning. She’s playful and full of puppy charm, ready to bring joy and laughter to her forever home. Penny is very curious and likes to explore new spaces. She LOVES people, grownups and kids alike. She lives in a foster home with 2 cats and respects their space although she’d really like to play with them! Penny is very social as she gets really excited to meet anyone who comes her way. She’s had several slumber parties with other fosters and their dogs, spent time playing at the dog park, and has gotten along very well with all the dogs she’s met. Penny loves going out for walks and will sit on command while waiting to get leashed. Playing fetch with tennis balls is her favorite game. While very independent, Penny likes snuggling for a nap and longs to be with her humans getting all the attention she can. She sleeps in a crate during the day in her foster home and is 95% potty trained. With frequent potty breaks during the day, she rarely has accidents in the house. She also enjoys being outside in the sunshine and helping to pick up sticks in the y To see more pictures and videos, copy and paste this link. Hi, I am Gemma, I am a Great Dane, Pitbull, Mastiff cross. I do have a DNA profile from one of my siblings available and I have pics of mom and dad (dad looked like Marmaduke). I came to the rescue with 17 siblings of various ages when a younger human sibling became ill. My mom and dad decided while our humans were away to have another litter. There were so many of us that our humans tried hard to keep us together but had to focus on our young human sibling and it was decided that we needed to find another place to live. This was very scary for two of us especially. We had never been away from our home in the country and we ended up in a shelter that scared two of us so bad that we just froze. The nice man from the rescue came and saved us from the noisy place and since then I have been coming out of my shell. I am so happy when my foster comes home from work and lets me out to potty. Even though I like outside what I really like to do is run back into the house so I can catch my favorite tv shows. I can't wait for tv time. I used to live with little humans but I am a big girl and am just over 1 year old so I worry I could bump into them accidentally. I have not met a lot of humans so I can be shy at first. If you have patience with me you will see that it passes and I will warm up before you know it. If you are active and like to cuddle and watch TV then you are the person for me. https://photos.app.goo.gl/5R5KiA1MoGvKbctj9

Hi, I am MIni, but don't let the name fool you. I am a Great Dane, Pitbull, Mastiff cross. The nice man from the rescue came and saved us from the noisy place and since then I have been coming out of my shell, but it is taking me longer than my sister. I am so happy when my foster comes home from work and lets me out to potty that I don't want to go back into the house. I just want to hang out in the yard and not sit in front of the tv like my sister wants to do. I used to live with little humans but I am a big girl and am just over 1 year old so I worry I could bump into them accidentally. I have not met a lot of humans so I am super shy at first and I just want to watch you for a while to make sure you are an okay person. I have not met a lot of people so sometimes I am slow to decide you are okay. If you have patience with me you will see that it passes and I will begin to warm up before you know it. If you are active and like outside and not sit in front of the tv all the time then you may be the person for me.

Story
If Kindrow had a theme song, it would be “Take Me Home, Country Roads” by John Denver. He loves everything about country life; wide open spaces, a slower pace, the morning sounds of farm animals, the fresh scent of dew-covered grass, and simple living. We didn’t realize this until he moved to his current foster, who lives on a country property. It’s like he was born for this life! Hence his nickname: "Kickback Country Boy." But Kindrow is more than just a country-loving pup… he's your best friend and the sidekick you never knew you needed. Watch his video, and you’ll be clicking that adoption link in no time: https://youtu.be/Wjc8DaDIUYs?si=ngyBEd9WFlDqbbrH Kindrow is tall with a big, blocky head, possibly a Great Dane, Mastiff, or Boxer mix. As a rescue, we can only guess his breed. Despite his size, he’s a total softie, weighing just 74 lbs and around 1.5 years old. Mornings with Kindrow are peaceful. He’ll snuggle all night, never stirring, and even lets you sleep in. When you wake, you’ll find him lounging on the patio, watching the sunrise, waiting to start the day. Living on a farm, he’s great with animals. Horses, chickens, ducks, and cows don’t faze him. During the day, he follows his foster off-leash while tending to the animals or doing chores. In town, he’s the perfect errand buddy, riding shotgun, simply enjoying the trip. If he stays home, his foster checks in via a doggy camera and finds him either patiently looking out the window or napping with a stuffy toy. No troublemaking here! He’s also crate-trained, and has been known to go up to 14 hours with no accidents. At bedtime, he’ll wait for an invitation onto the bed; a true gentleman and great housemate. Kindrow is gentle and patient with children, even as young as four. While he tolerates loud noises and quick movements, he prefers older kids (14+) who respect his space and enjoy more structured play, like fetch or tag. If younger kids visit occasionally, he’ll be just fine, as long as his home is generally relaxed. Kindrow enjoys doggy friends of all sizes but does best with medium-energy, submissive females who prefer gentle play over nonstop roughhousing. He’s also great with small dogs, respecting their space and size. He even met Mateo, a 12-lb pup, and after some initial shyness, they became best friends—sharing toys, treats, and snuggles. However, he needs a cat-free home. He somehow knows chickens are friends, but cats are not. Kindrow is leash-trained, knows basic commands, and is highly food-motivated, making training easy and fun. He’ll love bonding over learning new tricks! If your days include fishing at the pond, sitting around a firepit, working on the land, taking back-road drives, or just watching the sunset, Kindrow is your perfect match. He even enjoys kicking back to watch your favorite show! We’re happy to test him with anything you need to ensure he’s the right fit. Just ask! Ready to make Kindrow part of your family? Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
