My foster parent(s) describe me as: I am the ultimate cuddlebug who loves everyone!! I'm also much more active than most 5-year old Danes. My favorite things in the world are warm beds, booty scratches and stuff squeaky toys! My best day would be to: Spent with my humans, going on a walk, getting a new stuffy toy, playing fetch, sneaking yummy chicken when you aren't looking and then snuggling up next to my human at the end of the night Other tidbits about me: I am a smart cookie!! I know all my basic commands like sit, lay, shake. I also hop! I can jump vertically very high. I've still got some bad habits that have been challenging for my fosters to train out of me, such as staying out of the trash can or swiping things off the kitchen counter.

Story
Activity Level: A little active Level of Training: Some of the basics Housebroken: Yes Crate Trained: No My favorite place to sleep: On the couch My favorite activity is: Chewing on a new bone My favorite snack is: I'm not picky, but I am hesitant at first to eat treats in front of humans I get along with / like: Big Dogs, Little Dogs I do not get along with / like: Being Alone I'm scared of: Loud noises and sudden movements My foster parent(s) describe me as: I'm a lover boy at heart! Although I can be slow to trust new people and dogs. Once I have the time to learn more about my surroundings, my personality begins to shine through. I love nap time on the couch and running around the backyard with my friends. I don't have a favorite toy, but I'll choose toys depending on my mood for the day! When you first meet me, you'll have to show me that your intentions are good and then I will slowly start to become more curious about what you're up to over time. Expect to be followed around the house or yard once I feel you're a safe person. I am learning that the crate isn't a scary place but a safe space just for me. Overall, you'll need patience and understanding with me so that I have the time to learn you. Once you show me that I am safe and sound in your home, you'll be lucky to have me. My best day would be to: I would wake up to breakfast in bed - well, breakfast on the couch. My family would buy every different texture toy and let me choose whichever one I wanted. I wouldn't have to go in the crate the entire day and would have access to outside whenever I wanted. I'd have my dog friends with me during outside time so I could chase them around the yard, but I do like my nap time alone. My human would be there through it all, especially when I lean on them for pets. Other tidbits about me: I am still learning to trust humans and other animals, so I need a patient and observant owner. I am very sweet and I have never displayed any sign of aggression. My most noticeable attribute is my anxiety and nervousness with unfamiliar situations, I will definitely adjust well with a routine. In general, I am a loving pup that will do well with someone who is committed to building trust with me. Story
All the rescues in the valley are drowning in families of animals being turned in. The Alliance is experiencing the same thing. So, we voted to start a Puppy Fund. As it is, we are already over twelve hundred dollar$ in the red with the young ones & babies we have in rescue (vet visit, vaccines, vitamins, medications, food, puppy toys, trainer etc). We just hired a trainer for one of our pups as he is such a stubborn lil guy! Good grief!!! 😆And we have more waiting to come in. PLEASE HELP!!!! If you can help out with a donation to the "Puppy Fund" it will be such a blessing and sooooo very much appreciated. This way, we won't need to post every time we need funds for the wee ones and their special care or their mamas. Mamas' care is expensive! Just scroll down our website homepage to the big brown button "Donate" https://greatdanerescueofazalliance.com/ TY dane family. ❤️❤️❤️

Story
Please say hello to Koda... This lovely girl is bubbly & fun. She is looking for her forever family. Will that be you??? Koda has been with other danes but in time, she decides they are not for her and that intermittently ends the harmony in the home. So... she wishes to be an only pet for now. She has manners and if she does act up, she is crate trained and has no problem pouting in one while in time out!!! We are told she is an accomplished couch potato and an expert at counter surfing!!! If you would like to give this cutie a forever family in this new year, please let us know and we will set up a meet & greet with her foster family! A home check and meet & greet with all family members is required (2 & 4 legged). Please fill out an adoption app at: https://greatdanerescueofazalliance.com/adoptapplication.html There is an adoption contract and an adoption fee of $500. 623 869-0409 Dane Line Please help with her care while she is in rescue by visiting: greatdanerescueofazalliance.com and clicking DONATE NOW. Story
Please note this dog is NOT an official Underdog dog, and you will be connected with the person who has the dog. MEET  ASTRO!! He is a very large 100lb Black Lab/Great Dane mix. He is very affectionate and loves lots of attention. He is large so older children would be best as my grandchildren (ages 1 - 5) can't come over because they think he is a horse, and we can't keep him outside because of the heat. We are downsizing and will not be able to take Astro with us (Retirement Community). Astro loves to be outside chasing gecko's, mice, rats, racoons, ect. A large yard would be best for Astro. He eats a lot and loves snacks. He is good at home by himself as he sleeps a lot when he isn't eating.  Leash trained, Does well in a car, Playful, Affectionate, Eager to please, Even-tempered, Gentle If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application www.underdogaz.com  PLEASE NOTE: This dog is courtesy posted for another individual or Rescue. Different policies and fees may apply. November 5, 2024, 10:01 pm
