Story
Brooks is a really great dog, a gentle giant. He weighs about 130 pounds and has outgrown our home. He has some skin allergies that we have tried and tried to figure out, but even with the help of a vet we still are lost on why he has allergies. He also has a very, very sensitive stomach. He will need a lot of room and people who love him since he thinks he is a lap dog. He does well with other dogs and cats and is friendly with kids. He likes a short walk in the morning and then usually lays around the rest of the day. We would love to find a loving home for him where he will be taken care of as he gets older.

Story
Chopper is around four years old and is a lovable, 60-pound dog with the most endearing grin. He often sticks his tongue out of you, which always makes everyone around him smile! Chopper was listed for euthanasia at the county shelter due to an upper respiratory infection and having limb lameness. We couldn’t let that be the end of his story! Thankfully, Chopper has fully recovered from his upper respiratory infection and has been receiving treatment for Valley Fever, which is a treatable and manageable, non-contagious disease that can cause limb lameness. Chopper is a playful, fun-loving dog who is dog-friendly, family-friendly, and even cat-friendly (!!). He’s been around birds and small animals and has done so well. You might say Chopper kind of adores everyone and everything. Chopper is a total sweetheart and would make such a great addition to an active family who would enjoy taking their dog for regular walks in the neighborhood and could provide him with a consistent routine. He would absolutely love to be your work-from-home companion! Chopper’s foster family has helped him become a master at crate- and potty-training. He also loves car rides! He’s currently working on leash and door manners along with basic obedience. Chopper’s adoption fee includes his completed veterinary exams, vaccines, neuter and microchip. Story
Duke is 5 years old. We got him when he was 8 weeks from a family that adopted him but couldn't keep him due to child's allergies. He is a sweet boy, loves walks and playing fetch. He grew up with another dog and when he was younger we did visit the dog park regularly. It has been a few years. We also had a cat that he always cuddled with. We need to rehome as we both now have jobs with really long hours and he does have separation anxiety. We did just lose our other dog and since then he has started to act sad and has even peed a couple of times in the house which he has never done before. He has also started acting depressed. We took him to the vet to get checked out and they stated he was perfect, nothing found. He needs a family that has time for him which us not an option for us at this time. As sad as I am he will thrive elsewhere.
