Story
We’ve had Cooper since he was a puppy, we love him and he’s a part of our family. Trying to rehome him is not something I do lately and I’ve been thinking about it for a very long time, will only do it in the right situation. I guess at this point in my life (I am now retired) I cannot match Cooper’s needs. I have a fenced in yard and his happiest times are to be outside all day. He’s fine with other dogs, children, other animals. He literally almost doesn’t seem to care about them, he’s so focused on his ball lol. He takes instructions well. He’s never been destructive in the house or gone to the bathroom etc but he does tend to bark a lot when I leave and he gets very anxious when there are new people at the house and anything is ‘different’. Cooper needs to be in a consistent family environment, potentially with children who like to play with a dog, and with a caregiver who is very patient with his particular needs and has the time in lifestyle to support that.

Story
Cooper is incredibly sweet. He has a great personality, and he is an absolute joy to have around. We adopted Cooper at 7 months as a favor to a friend. Now he is 1 year old(March 1st bday), and we just don't have the ability to give him the time and attention he deserves. He is FULL of energy. About 2 weeks after we got him, he had to have surgery for an obstructed intestine. Due to this, he is by absolutely no means allowed to have any stuffed toys, blankets, or anything similar(socks.. etc.). He WILL eat them and he will NOT be likely to survive if it happens again. It is not worth the risk. He loves chasing balls and he loves all Kong toys. He's great at leashed walks. We took Cooper through a puppy training course, and he is an amazingly fast learner. He knows sit, down, spin, paw, stay, and, my personal favorite, touch(hold your hand out and say touch and he will place his nose in your hand). Cooper is great, and he deserves a loving home where he will have plenty of attention.
