Story
Bentley was surrendered to the rescue when his older owner could no longer care for him. He is a 53 lb bundle of cuddly, snuggly fun, that loves to play fetch, tug and work on doggy puzzles. He is high energy and needs plenty of exercise.  At 2 years old, he is crated trained and and sleeps in his crate at night. He will use the crate as a napping spot during the day. Bentley  is totally housetrained and will indicate his need to go outside. Bentley does very well riding in the car and loves to go to stores to pick out treats. He walks well and will even go on a run with his person. Bentley has never been left alone for long periods of time and would benefit from an adopter that is home frequently. He does have some anxiety with change, that can be managed with a thundershirt. Bentley's ideal home would have a fenced yard to ensure ample exercise. He currently lives with a 3 yo child and 3 other dogs. He could be an only dog  or live  with a dog that matches his energy level and size. PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS WITH A FENCED YARD! No cats for Bentley! Bentley's adoption fee is $450. He is UTD on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. ##2281316##

Story
Rusty is a good dog. He learns well, he loves people and children. He is a strong dog; he pulls on his walks and has a good amount of energy. Since getting Rusty as a puppy two years ago, both my husband and my health has declined to a point that we cannot take care of him adequately. Also, family members have developed allergy symptoms since we acquired him.

This handsome guy is about 2 years old and we're guessing a mini-Goldendoodle weighing around 18 pounds (pre-shave as you'll see in his photos!) Henry loves other dog companions and his person that he trusts. He warms to strangers- it just takes him a little more time. Henry has come a long way in learning that people can be good. He spent time on the run until he was captured and sent to the pound. Being alone scared and cold without any creature comforts was a hard time for this sweet boy. Once Henry bonds with you, he is completely adoring. He does like to show off his singing voice... and sing the song of his people. What we're learning about Henry is that he may have distrust of some men, and we prefer he goes to a home without young children as he is still learning. We would highly prefer that Henry goes to a home with another dog to also help him feel confident. Since being sprung from the pound, Henry's personality is starting to shine through, and he's a playful and happy guy now that he knows he's safe. Henry is crate trained, housebroken, and walks beautifully on a leash. We’re working on his separation anxiety so that will take some patience and time with him. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs. All our dogs have been treated with de-wormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 months or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption. We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
