Meet Theo! He is a 60 pound sweet and calm standard poodle who’s as easygoing as they come. Theo is a patient boy who loves food and has a lot of fun playing the “find the chicken” game, sniffing around to discover tasty treats. He’s a big fan of pets and will gladly soak up all the love you’re willing to give. Theo gets along well with other dogs and has a curious nature, always exploring his surroundings in the most relaxed way. If you’re looking for a laid-back, loving companion who will enjoy quiet moments and bring a steady presence to your home, Theo might just be the perfect match. Come meet this gentle boy and see for yourself! Before being rescued, many of our dogs have had limited socialization, so they may need a bit of time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog`s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Story
Cooper is the sweetest puppy! He loves to be near his parents and will cuddle with all family members. He is a very happy dog. I'd love Cooper to get adopted by a family or experienced adopter. Still young and has lots of energy. He will potty outside and does this best first thing in the a.m. if you get up and say, 'potty outside' and open the door. He is 5 months old and is still learning, so give him time. He does still have pee accidents inside, and should be let out, as usual for a puppy, every 2-3 hours. Cooper comes with a brand-new XL kennel, thick kennel pad, food, container, toys and a jacket. We will miss him… sad he didn’t work out. He has an amazing heart! I am a senior and wanted a playmate for my 2-yr old puppy. They play a lot and are close. However, as he is a little bigger and heavier and can at times prevail my shy Border Collie mix when at play. Was told he had all shots; and promised paperwork, nothing was ever forthcoming. I work 4.5 hrs. he is crated.
