Her past has left her with a guarded heart, but with consistent care, patience, and a gentle touch, we believe Snickerdoodle has a world of potential just waiting to shine through.This lovely girl will thrive in a home with a calm, confident dog companion to guide her and help her feel secure. She’ll need an experienced adopter who is prepared to patiently show her that humans can be trusted friends. A securely fenced yard will be essential to give her safe space to explore at her own pace. While she may seem distant during a meet-and-greet, Snickerdoodle carries a heart full of promise, and with the right family, she’ll blossom into the loyal and loving companion she was always meant to be. Could you be her forever family?- - - - -Before being rescued, many of our dogs have had limited socialization, so they may need a bit of time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog`s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
