Story
To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Dax is a 2 mo male purebred AKC Golden Retriever who was surrendered with his brother by their owner in rural Arkansas. This pup lives in the house with his foster family where he's lovingly cared for while awaiting his forever home. Happy, playful, outgoing puppy! Full of fun and life, very confident and never meets a stranger. Well-socialized, growing up around kids, cats and other dogs. Recommended for children 6 years and older. Instruction has begun with crate training, housebreaking and leash walking. AKC registration.  Weighs about 12 pounds, healthy, altered and utd on shots. This is an adorable puppy with a happy, loving temperament who will make a great companion for a family who loves the breed. Here's a note from the foster mom: 'AWESOME PUPPY! Sweet, loving and affectionate. It's so much fun watching him learn what toys and treats are for! He sleeps 6-7 hours in the crate at night, learning how to walk on a  leash. Is very in tune with people, very intelligent and eager to please. Plays sweetly with the young kids next door. He's 'learning the ropes' from our big dog, following him everywhere and trying to keep up. Very nice pup, will be a great family dog.' To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Story
Enter into the world of Zoby, where love and loyalty are just a tail wag away! Meet Zoby, the precious Golden Doodle who is all about zooming her way into your heart! This beautiful girl is almost 3 years old, and she is ready to celebrate with her new forever family. With her soft, curly blonde coat and those expressive eyes, Zoby has a look that is impossible to resist.Weighing in at 56 pounds, Zoby is the perfect large-sized dog. A giving heart and with lots of love makes her a very special girl. Her energy level is just right, too: low to medium energy means she loves a good play session, but she is equally happy relaxing by your side on those lazy Sunday mornings. Her flexible personality makes her the perfect companion for just about any lifestyle. Zoby is does well with other dogs and children, making her an ideal family dog. She is always excited to meet new friends, and her gentle, friendly nature pleases humans and canines alike. She has not had the experience of meeting a cat since coming into rescue. One of the best things about Zoby is that she is already housetrained. She also is leash trained so walks with Zoby will be a dream and making her a joy to take on walks and outings. Crate training is a work in progress, so with time and patience, she will master that as well. It is important to remember that although Zoby is house trained, accidents can still occur while she adjusts to a new home environment. Beyond her gorgeous looks and well-mannered behavior, Zoby is full of love and affection. She thrives on attention and loves to snuggle up with her people with her laid-back personality. Her loyal, sweet nature means she will quickly become an irreplaceable part of your family. Come meet her, and let her curly blonde charm win you over! The adoption fee for Zoby is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. Story
Welcome Bluebell to CCPAL Rescue. She is an Golden Retriever/Shepherd mix is our best guess. She weighs about 65 pounds. She is 4 years old. She is pretty good on the leash and is very affectionate. She is definitely a people person and likes strangers. She has one blue eye and one golden brown eye. She has the feathering of the Golden Retriever. She is potty trained and she does good with other dogs. She likes car rides and she has some nice commands under her belt. She knows sit, down, stay and takes treats nicely. She is in a home with a wonderful family that now has to take care of their older mom with dementia. Bluebell is a little big and young for an older lady with dementia so Bluebell needs to find a better home that has time to spend with her walking, jogging and hiking. Bluebell is good with other dogs and she will make an active family a great companion. Her long legs would make her good at keeping stride with a jogger. She is not over the top active and likes to rest and be affectionate as well. She would be fine with a moderately active family. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older She is healthy and has had her year long heart guard shot. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!
