This means positive rewards training, fine tuning house training, exercise and tons of fun and laughs in between. Because Cooper loves everyone he meets and gets very excited, he might forget all about the polite way to greet people and be a bit on the jumpy side. Teens that are comfortable with bouncy young dogs and will participate in his training, will be considered. He can potentially join a home with a resident dog that is comfortable with his rough and tumble play style and who can be a good role model. No cats in the home at this time, please. Cooper is ready to become a wonderful companion for many years, he just needs to find his forever family. If you think he might be the one for you, please drop by the shelter during open hours to talk to staff. Tuesday- Sunday 12-3p

Evolet has come a long way. She is currently in foster and loving it. Evolet is a Sato from Puerto Rico and can be shy when she first meets you. She quickly bonds to her person and loves other dogs. She has come out of her shell in a foster home, and if you are familiar with Sato's, you will understand her well. She weighs in at about 28 lbs and is 7 months old so we are guessing she is full grown. A perfect home for Evolet would be a quiet home with another dog and children over 12 years of age with a fenced-in yard. She is happy hanging out with her person and canine siblings (s). Jingles arrived from Puerto Rico after a period of time in foster care. He is a 13 month old puppy and weighs 12 lbs. Jingles has breed characteristics, coloration, markings and temperament which indicate that he may be a golden retriever,collie, Jack Russell mix. He is highly trainable, very affectionate, obedient, laid back. He loves to run and play. He would do well with small children because he is not over active, aggressive and does not jump on people. A fenced in yard and another doggy playmate is appropriate. Jingles is completing crate training and is making progress on a regular schedule. He needs a family who is willing to take him on walks and allow him to run freely off leash. The adoption fee helps with the cost of spay, microchip, vaccines, vet visits, foster care, listing fees and air transport from San Juan, Puerto Rico to Boston.
