She loves long walks on her leash, zooming, playing with balls & stuffies, tug-of-war and of course, cuddling. She has a genetic condition that requires a bit of extra time & special steps at meals. She has a custom chair that allows her to eat in an upright position. Truffles eagerly gets into her chair as she is quite food motivated. She is intelligent, active, affectionate, and eager to please. She is ideal for an active family or individual. Welcome Bluebell to CCPAL Rescue. She is an Golden Retriever/Shepherd mix is our best guess. She weighs about 65 pounds. She is 4 years old. She is pretty good on the leash and is very affectionate. She is definitely a people person and likes strangers. She has one blue eye and one golden brown eye. She has the feathering of the Golden Retriever. She is potty trained and she does good with other dogs. She likes car rides and she has some nice commands under her belt. She knows sit, down, stay and takes treats nicely. She is in a home with a wonderful family that now has to take care of their older mom with dementia. Bluebell is a little big and young for an older lady with dementia so Bluebell needs to find a better home that has time to spend with her walking, jogging and hiking. Bluebell is good with other dogs and she will make an active family a great companion. Her long legs would make her good at keeping stride with a jogger. She is not over the top active and likes to rest and be affectionate as well. She would be fine with a moderately active family. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older She is healthy and has had her year long heart guard shot. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 180. Hi there, my name is Spyder and I’m a super duper boy! In case you haven’t noticed I’m a leaner and the best snuggler around. I love to play, stretching my legs is so much fun especially if I have a doggie friend or we are playing. I love to fetch the toy my auntie throws ( I don’t bring it back though, what can I say I’m working on it). My favorite thing is to be with my human, I will follow you everywhere and I mean everywhere! I’m very smart and curious… my auntie says my curiosity is going to get me in trouble because I learned about counter surfing and she tells me no! But how will I see what delicious snack she’s making.. I take redirection really well and am learning to be a good boy. I love playing with other dogs, everyone is my friend! My auntie says I give the best hugs and when I lean my head in her shoulder, well I have such a big heart I want to share it with you. Spyder is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home.
