Story
Buddy is a sweet 6ish month old, absolute sweetheart of a pup. He was dumped in a field, chained to a crate, with some pretty ugly lacerations from an overly tight collar. Some very kind people freed him from the chain and took him home and contacted us for help. He is now safe & sound in foster care, finished his vetting, and his neck is healing up nicely. Buddy made all kinds of friends at the vet clinic and the staff said he is the best little pup. His foster mom thinks he is pretty great, too. As he continues to get settled in his foster home she will be sure to update his bio. If you're interested in adding this good boy to your household, we'd love to hear from you! Buddy is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested negative for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are picked up from our Southbury CT adoption center, adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Meet me at PawSafe, 348 Old Colony Rd, Eastford CT Meet Puffins - a beautiful girl just waiting to be shown love and affection in a home of her own. She came to rescue with her 2 siblings (Fluffington and McPaws) and they all get along well. At about 6 months old they have never had a home and want so much to be with you. Leashes are still scary but they rush to your side if you bend down to give them some love. A home with another dog to show them the ropes would be great but they will also thrive with a little extra time and positive reinforcement. She will probably be about 50lbs when full grown.
We'll also keep you updated on CT McPaws's adoption status with email updates.

Story
To adopt please fill out an adoption application. Brandy is a 2 month old female purebred AKC Golden Retriever who was surrendered with her littermates by their owner in rural Arkansas. This pup lives in the house with her foster family where she's lovingly cared for while awaiting her forever home. Happy, playful, outgoing puppy! Full of fun and life, very confident and never meets a stranger. Well-socialized, growing up around kids, cats and other dogs. Recommended for children 6 years and older. Instruction has begun with crate training, housebreaking and leash walking. AKC registration.  DOB is 9-11-24. Weighs about 12 pounds, healthy, altered and utd on shots. This is an adorable puppy with a happy, loving temperament who will make a great companion for a family who loves the breed. Here's a note from the foster mom: 'AWESOME PUPPY! Sweet, loving and affectionate. It's so much fun watching her learn what toys and treats are for! She sleeps 6-7 hours in the crate at night, learning how to walk on a leash. Is very in tune with people, very intelligent and eager to please. Plays sweetly with the young kids next door. She's 'learning the ropes' from our big dog, following him everywhere and trying to keep up. Very nice pup, will be a great family dog.' To adopt please fill out an adoption application.
