Story
Tabitha is a beautiful shepherd mix. She was picked up on Jones Rd and has been waiting on her family to come and reclaim her but no one has shown up. Tabitha is very submissive and has done well with all the dogs here at the shelter. She walks well on a leash and is very loving. For more information please contact the shelter at 501-882-8104. Tabitha did very well in her foster home. She did not use the bathroom in the house, or get into the trash. She did not bark, She was the perfect house guest. This pet is available for adoption at Beebe Animal Services, 1401 E Center Street in Beebe, AR. All pets are available by application only. Story
Jasper is a 3 year old Golden Retriever mix, weighing 60 pounds. He is housetrained and crate trained. He loads and rides well. He is used to being an inside dog and is mild-mannered and friendly with people. He knows “sit” and has done well with continued training but can be stubborn. He is pushy and selective with other dogs and would likely be happiest as the only dog in the home. He is not good with cats. He is healthy, heartworm negative, and neutered. Jasper is a door darter and runner and will need to go to a home with a securely fenced in yard where he can safely get the exercise he needs. ....................................If you would like further information or would like to request an adoption application, please e-mail us directly adopt@thehss.org If you request an application and don’t receive it check your spam or junk mail file. Story
Hunny is a gorgeous blonde who is three years old. She has come into the OOTW program because her owner had to take a job where he works out of town for weeks on end. This leaves her and her sister, Oria, alone in the yard with a couple of different people stopping by to replenish food and water every few days. This is not a good situation and we would love to find this girl (and her sister) a home and they do not need to be adopted together. As these girls are quite a ways out of Little Rock, we have been unable to get them to the vet just yet, but we are working on this and we are moving forward with taking applications for adoption and will get the vetting worked in as we go. Hunny, besides being a beautiful dog, is a LOVE BUG and a gentle girl. As you can tell from these photos, she's a happy dog with an enormous smile! She immensely enjoys being with people and we expect her to do well with children, even though she has not had kids in her life yet. Hunny is well behaved, house trained and crate trained. (Vetting includes, but is not limited to, the following: Spay, heartworm test, rabies shot, annual vaccinations, kennel cough vaccination, flea/tick/heartworm preventative and microchip.)If you would like to adopt this sweet girl, the link to the application is just below. Adoption fee is $150.To make the best possible match for you and the pet, please follow the link below to complete the Adoption Application. Story
Meet Truffles! Truffles is an adorable & exuberant 7 month old puppy with huge stick up bat signal ears. When not receiving transmissions, her giant receivers crisscross atop her head. She loves long walks on her leash, zooming, playing with balls & stuffies, tug-of-war and of course, cuddling. She has a genetic condition that requires a bit of extra time & special steps at meals. She has a custom chair that allows her to eat in an upright position. Truffles eagerly gets into her chair as she is quite food motivated. She is intelligent, active, affectionate, and eager to please. She is ideal for an active family or individual. Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
