Story
Hi there! My name is FeFe, and I’m a 4-year-old German Shepherd looking for my forever home! I’m 82 pounds of black and tan floof. I know I’m a big girl, but my foster mom says there’s just more of me to love! I’m spayed, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated, so I’m healthy and ready to go home with you! I’m a goofy and loving dog who is always up for a good time. I love to play fetch and chew on bones, and I’m always eager to learn new tricks. I’m very smart and energetic, so I’m looking for someone who can keep up with me! It would be best if you have experience with shepherds or other herding breeds like me. I’m house and crate trained, and my foster mom has been working with me on my leash manners. I get nervous around people and animals that I don’t know, so I’m looking for a home where I can be the only pet. Because I’m so big (and sometimes a little clumsy), I’d do best in a home without small children. I would make a great companion for an active adult or a family with older children. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion, I’m your girl! I’m being fostered in Portsmouth, VA and adopters will need to meet me in person prior to adoption. *Must be 21 or older to apply.

Story
Luna was born April of 2020 and we bought her advertised as full white German shepherd. First trip to the vet and we found out she was half white German, half Great Pyrenees. We got her about a month old and moved out of state. She weighs about 65 lbs. While living out of state, we had a bigger house, nice yard and community to walk her. We also did not have kids yet. I also worked much less hours. Now that we have moved back to Virginia, our house is much smaller, we have a toddler, and now expecting again, and I work a lot more and will deploy soon. The move, children, and change in work tempo has prevented us in giving Luna the time and love that she deserves. She has been a great dog for us, and hope to find her a good loving home that can give her the time and love that she deserves.

Story
Our beautiful girl is called Kassidy and had a pure German Shepherd momma and dad was a pure Great Pyrenees.  Born on 11/4, this girl is ready for a new home and will be such a wonderful companion for a family.   She is going to be a large girl when fully grown and has the best temperament that is gentle and shy and very smart.  Her curiosity is so sweet to see and what a lover she is when you call her to you for some attention.  You see the first 9 weeks of her life she got little to no attention from the man who owned their GSD Momma.  We are making up for that time now!  The combination of  the German Shepherd intelligence and devotion and the kind gentle spirit of the Great Pyrenees makes a special puppy to consider for your family.  We require that you have Shepherd or Great Pyrenees experience and a fenced yard.  No condos or apartment homes for this large breed and roaming oriented breed of puppy.  She will be a great family pet that will enjoy the company of children, other dogs and even cats.  We anticipate her grow up to be a 80 pound girl when fully grown up!!!   And of course she will be a head-turning beauty!  Please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    She is ready for a new life and loving family NOW!!!!! PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJanuary 28, 2025, 9:28 pm
