Story
Meet Josie, the curious and affectionate girl who's looking for her forever home! This gorgeous German Shepherd is a real catch, with her smarts, quiet nature, and friendly personality. She's the whole package, and she's ready to explore the world with you. Josie is a real people-person, always up for a good time and a good belly rub. She's also super curious and loves to sniff out new adventures. Josie is a real sweetheart who will give you her undivided attention and loyalty. She's the perfect companion for walks and hikes, as she loves to explore and take in all the exciting smells the world has to offer. With her medium energy levels, she's always up for a good time but also knows how to relax and unwind. Josie is also crate-trained, making her the perfect guest when you need some alone time. This girl is a real catch for any GSD lover, and she's just waiting for that special someone to show her some love. She's an adult, so you don't have to worry about those puppy antics, and she's happy to be the only dog in your life, demanding all the attention for herself. Josie is a real stunner, and with her lean figure, she's sure to turn heads. She just needs some TLC to help her gain a little weight and build muscle. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion to join you on all your adventures, Josie is the one! While friendly, she would probably do best in a home with children 14+. Additionally, she has not yet been fully cat tested. Prior to going home, she will be spayed. **This dog is cross-posted with DASH and is not in DASH's care. We are working with Mona's organization to help with exposure and placement.

Story
onded Pair Alert! Koda & KassidiKoda (born in 2020) and Kassidi (born in 2017) are a gentle pair of friendly German Shepherds whose world changed almost overnight. One of their beloved owners passed away, and the other was later diagnosed with cancer and could no longer care for them. Through all of that heartbreak, the one constant they’ve had is each other.Koda is a social gentleman who greets people first and gently encourages his sister that things will be okay. Kassidi was a little more reserved and leaned on Koda for reassurance when the world felt big and unfamiliar. Now, Kassidi is feeling more comfortable and starting to show her playful side- and we couldn’t be happier! They came to us quite overweight, but they’ve already begun the slow journey toward becoming their healthiest selves. What hasn’t changed is their bond. These two are deeply connected and because of that, we’re searching for a very special home with enough room (and enough heart) to welcome two large dogs who have already lost so much.To meet Koda and Kassidi please fill out an application at:https://hsfc.org/adoptions/applications/online/Or email us at farm@hsfc.org
